3 nights stay
We stayed three nights and the hotel is overal OK including the hospitality of the staff. Location is great, near the mural streets of Penang, foodies and Komtar mall. On the second night i was biten by the beg bugs on my both hands and fingers. I told the reception but without telling us upfront, they suddenly cleaned up the room and sprayed insectiside, When we came back, we found out our room was upside down. Then i called the reception, they came upstair to 5th floor and helped us to relocate the room to 4th floor for only one night before check out on the next day. It was really troubling to move our luggages and our scattered stuff in the room. Anyway, the receptionists were friendly and the rooms are equipped with safe deposit box, fridge and electric kettle, wifi is good, many international channel provided.No phone inside the room, but they provide one line in every floor.

Old fashioned but a clean hotel.
The hotel located near the penang's heritage site. Overall the lobby, room, and bathroom quite clean. But the bathroom is too small for family room style. And also no phone in room that make a little difficulties. But overall is a nife experience staying there

The room wasnot in good condition, the walls are painted wuth different colours, the bathroom condition - MUST TO touch up. Even if you switch on air con, there is the smell of dampness, i washed some clothes and it never dried. The staff at the reception is helpful, i asked for umbrella and they helped, i asked to print some pages, they helped. The safety box in the room was closed upon arrival and i cannot use it. The breakfast restaurant is nice, on the roof top. The breakfast itself, can find the food for your choice, in general okay. The location is perfect, 10 kinutes to Komtar, few minutes to Penang street art. Few restaurants around, less small shops around, 7.11 around 10 minutes walk The only thing that they need to work on is room condition.

Hotel is in a great location, nearby plenty of restaurants and artisan cafes, walking distance to many tourist spots. Safe area to go around at night. Has a nice playground/ park just across the street. Hotel looked good from the outside, but inside it's old. Had issues with the door lock - making an alarm bec it won't close properly. Walls are thin, expect to hear your neighbors talking. Water heater and pressure was great. Bidet did not work (no water flowing). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, hotel is still great value for money! I recommend this hotel if you're not too particular of these cons mentioned.

Like it but not so fabulous
Hotel is a bit run down due to wear and tear but the location was very good near to the heritage area.

It was very convenient and good value for money. Staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable and the shower and A/C worked well. I would recommend it and would also stay there again.

The hotel's air con was really loud and noisy. Kept me awake almost the whole night. Kimberly road street food and Chulia road street food is near the hotel.

雖然離清真寺很近早上會聽到念經聲，但因為念經聲很催眠，所言被吵醒又立刻睡回去，沒什麼影響。唯一美中不足的是飯店是古蹟，所以入住的時候有個不知道是什麼鈴壞了，晚上時不時的響起，幸好員工的動作還算快的關掉了。

When I first checked in, another guest managed to open the door to my room. Upon my complaint, the counter staff gave me another room. I then realized that I could even use the new room key to open the door to my old room! Good thing was that with the new room, only the designated card was able to open its door.

The hotel is very tired but considering the price it is good value for money. We arrived early and they managed to get a room cleaned up and let us check in early which was very helpful. The only complaint is our tea cups in the room were never cleaned in the 5 days we stayed there. there was a dirty tea cup when we went into our room and I washed it thinking it was an oversight. The hotel is in a great position within walking distance to restaurants, food courts, shops, shopping centres and bus terminal and ferry terminal to Butterworth. The hotel is in an excellant location to everything.

We spent three nights in the superior double room during early August 2023. The room was generously sized, although it had a slightly musty scent upon arrival. The furniture appeared aged, and there were noticeable cracks in the floor skirting throughout the room. Fortunately, the window provided a pleasant city view. The hotel's standout feature was its exceptional location, allowing easy exploration of Georgetown with its proximity to various attractions- a great choice if you enjoy discovering places on foot. Additionally, the check-in staff was accommodating and friendly. Despite us arriving well before the official check-in hours, the staff managed to provide our room by efficiently rearranging those who had checked out early.

Disappointing hotel stayed.
Hotel wasn’t well maintained. Aircon was working and asked to change room but the staffs didn’t as requested to. Was a very disappointing stayed. There are a lot better hotel nearby than Armenian Heritage.

Outside the hotel was not very tidy/clean. Transport early in the morning to the airport was difficult to get. The hotel restaurant has been leased and there is no room service. TV stations were very limited. Cleanliness and condition of the room has improved greatly. Staff is very helpful and courteous. I will stay there again..

Great location; but very noisy.
The best thing about the hotel is its location. From the first glance, the hotel seems alright. The room is comfortable, with a decent bed and a window that opens up to a charming view of the Armenian Street heritage area. The toilet bowl doesn't seem to have been scrubbed/cleaned regularly. The shower is clean, with good pressure. The check-in process is easy and painless. Parking isn't complimentary - you have to pay RM10/day for a spot, and it's given on the first-come-first-served basis. I stayed there for 3 nights - couldn't sleep very well each night due to the noise. The rooms aren't soundproof, the walls are thin. There are facilities such as the ironing board placed at the common area outside by the atrium, and at night, as late as 1230am, you can hear from your room the sound of families chatting loudly, kids running around, and doors being banged shut.

Nice old hotel, sadly power went off every day at 7am, and it had a old woody smell and not fresh. Blood was on the walls and no hot water in the sink. Air conditioner rattled at night. Good location and nice food near hotel.

Overall is good, but the room window was damage, 2 cannot lock, and the anti noise is not really good, every night can hear outside sound. The hotel reception was very nice.

Great property if you prefer walking around Georgetown to explore because most attractions are in the area. But parking is a nuisance. First come, first get basis

I stayed there for 5 Nights in March 2023. Very helpful & friendly staff. Fantastic location for discovering Old Penang. Clean, but very (!!!) slow room service. Many times they have not made my room at 4 pm.

Good location and room is adequate. Only let down last min after the check-out: asked the front desk (Indian female in this particular case) for assistance with Grab a car to the bus terminal which was 5 mins walking distance away, she called someone then told me just wait outside but could not provide the car rego; a taxi came and mins later, again the Indian driver in this scenario charged me more than 3 times what a Grab service would ever ask. So lessons people: always use Grab when you can and don't let any hotel receptionist and her mate take advantage of you!

3泊したが、1泊目の部屋には開かずの扉があり、そこからエアコン室外機の騒音が夜中中鳴り響き寝られなかった。(しかも自分はエアコン不使用だったので隣人の使用音)酷いので翌日以降は部屋を変えてもらったが、このような十分な睡眠を提供できないホテルは失礼過ぎる。ただし、細かい指摘をするとキリがないが、比較的清潔ではある。

A beautiful heritage hotel located in a convenient location walkable to many eateries and nearby 1st Avenue Mall/Prangin Mall/Komtar Tower. Spent new year's eve watching fireworks from my hotel window. So spectacular! Thank you for making my stay a pleasant one!

Stayed in this hotel for two nights while in Penang. The location is great with a lot of the street art attractions scattered in walking distance to the hotel. The hotel room was rather basic, but was overall relatively clean. Noise from surrounding rooms was loud through the walls. Our TV did not work but this did not impact us much during the short stay. Breakfast was included in our stay, this was on the rooftop and was nice but simple. Bottled water was provided daily, but fresh towels were not provided. Staff were friendly and helpful, and provided luggage storage.
