"Gorgeous and spacious room. Very inviting onsen area, even in the pouring rain. Nice touch that outfits are provided to walk to the onsen, and it was a long distance from my room. Expensive but delicious meal at the French restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful but they need more than one coffee machine; there was always a line of people waiting. The hotel has beautiful grounds and landscaping, with great views of the lake, which I saw only through windows, sadly, as it never stopped raining during...

"This is super clean and convenient business hotel. This hotel has everything you need. High tech coin laundry which you can monitor the progress from your room. Free breakfast. Super safe. Even they didn’t take the tip I left for housekeepers. It’s right next to main station but super quiet in and out. All kinds of shops are right there. "

"Check if Oiso Long Beach is open during your stay first. I did not. Rooms are slightly dated but still nice. The location is nice to look at but not so great for those without a car. The nearest public transport is a bus and thats 10 minutes away and another 10-15 to the train station. Food outside the hotel is also a 10 minute walk, but the food inside the hotel is good. Try their take out for way cheaper prices. Staff here will struggle with english, but they will try hard. Last, it feels...

"The property and the staff were excellent. However, the only complaint I have is the lack of pre-check in information. We did not know where the shuttle bus was located for pick up, or which train station the shuttle was at (or the pick up schedule). After missing the shuttle, we ended up using a taxi, which was quite expensive, rather than wait for two hours for the next bus. "

"The onsen experience was fantastic. It's a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff services. We like everything about the hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was the long walk uphill from the bus stop to the hotel. While the hotel offered shuttle pick up from the bus stop, this information was not made known to us. We wish we knew to call the hotel to pick us up. Dragging our large luggages up the hill for 30 minutes was quite a challenge. "
