The hotel is fine, but nothing to get excited over. While apparently it was last renovated in 2023, the only area that seems updated is the pool area, rooms are at least 5 to 10 years since renovation. Lobby is dated and very much needs some attention.
I was on the 15th floor, ocean view, yes i could see the ocean but the tall building next to the church did cover up a great deal. While you kind of see this in the images of the rooms, to have the perfect clear view you are so hoping to get you need to be at least on floor 25 and above. Plus you are long city block from the water. Add in you are looking down on the Marriott Valet Parking lot, an ugly apartment builidng (one blocking the view) and the ugly roof top tenis courts of the other hotel in front of you. Plus their garbage area and daily pick up early in the morning of that garbage.
Stay in housekeeping were super friendly and always saying hello but that was the only stand out for staff. Check guy would not stop going over the resort features, which after being 3 time zones out and late in the evening, I was not listening at all, for him to say there is more to know. Needs to read the customer and adjust his speal to the guest.
Finally biggest beef, full room cleaning only every 4 days. I get staffing shortages, but when your paying over $300 a night, getting your room cleaned at least every other day would be nice. You have to request and then no promises.
Do not think I would stay again at this one.
