"God beliggenhed, dejlig strand, store værelser. 3 pools som var 30+ grader varme. Personalet i receptionen samt housekeeping var meget imødekommende, dog virkede personalet ved strandbaren og restauranten ugidelige og ikke imødekommende. Ikke smilende som man normalt møder thaierne. Det gjorde desværre oplevelsen lidt blandet. Morgenmaden og thaimaden i restauranten var lækkert. "We had a wonderful time at Layana. The transportation from Krabi airport was very much appreciated. It was very hot in Thailand while we were there and the pool was great, we spent hours around it and in it. We rented a scooter to drive around the island, Traffic was limited and we felt safe driving them around the island, Layana recommended the Turtle Beach resort for dinner and it was very good. Our room was very large"

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es ist in einer ruhigen Bucht, mit ein paar Einkaufs- sowie Essensmöglichleiten. Uns hat die Ruhe dort sehr gefallen, da der Strand überhaupt nicht überlaufen war. Die Unterkunft hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Der einstige kleine Nachteil ist vielleicht, dass das Personal und manchmal nicht richtig verstanden hat. Ansonsten hat es uns aber sehr gut gefallen und wir würden wieder buchen."

"Worst hotel experience we've honestly ever had. Our air con broke one night into our stay so the room was a sweat box. We had a total of 6 people come in to our room to confirm it was broken, they said they could offer another room to so we packed up our stuff ready to move then they retracted the offer saying they had no room availability. It was only when I asked for a refund for the rest of our stay that they then miraculously found a spare room for us to spend 1 night in and called out...

"I’ve traveled all over the world, and this was the best stay I’ve ever had. They don’t let you lift a finger, even if you want to! I’ve never been so pampered in my life. The free transfer from the airport is much nicer than advertised - we had a private car with AC, free water, and their own private speedboat to the island. "We had 5 nights at Alanta Villa, and by day two we knew we hadn’t booked long enough. The villas are peaceful, well appointed, comfortable, and very private. "This hotel had bedbugs. We had a reservation in the 3br suite and around 11pm discovered there were bedbugs infested in all 3 rooms. I struggled with posting this review because all of the the staff are so nice but I see the room is available for reservation again and it was a total nightmare to discover this and deal with sanitizing our things and finding a new place to stay in the middle of the night. "
