When I saw how dirty was the bathroom and that there was no light from the outside ( the room looks like a prison cell), I called hotels.com immediately to cancel my booking for the 5 remaining nights. "Recently renovated with outstanding cleanliness. Functional rooms with some having a small balcony for smoking and/or watching the world go by. Due to the location, external noise can be an issue and stairs to the upper levels may problematic for the elderly. All the same I would definitely stay again. "

"Hello, This is not a small hotel as the pictures seem to show. This is basically a place renting rooms to people arriving in the evening for an early morning rise to see sunrise on Mt Bromo. I have never seen rooms and bathrooms so dirty, the bed sheet were dirty. There is no reception at all. We were obviously not expected on arrival. "Het is een prachtige locatie en ze brengen nog steeds verbeteringen aan zoals een overkapping van het terras. De nachten zijn erg koud en er lag al een extra deken maar dat is in het midden van de nacht iet genoeg om echt warm te blijven. De locatie is magisch en het uitzicht op de bromo is maar enkele minuten lopen. De service is goed. "
