The room was sold as a 3 bedroom but was in reality a 2 bed with an extra bed put into it. This meant there was a serious space issue and little room to even place luggage. However, breakfast was really good and location is about 1 minute walk from the Al Anwar Movenpick.

This Hotel is a mess. It is dirty. Rooms are very small. Pee smell in room. Shower was leaking whole time. Sink was broken. Food was below average and very poor service. Reception people don not speak English. Very disappointing experience.

Disappointing
Very basic hotel. Not a 4 star rating, old building, location is good, but only 37 parking spaces for a 400 room restaurant. Breakfast is also very basic and limited in choice.

Good thing about hotel is that it is only 3 minutes walk to Haram. Definitely not 4 star hotel. It’s 3 star. Rooms are not spacious. And room service was poor. But it was good price compare to near by hotels. Overall it’s satisfactory.

Check in.. Took 40 min Wifi.. Turtle pace House keeping.. Didnt came for cleaning despite regular reminders No table and chair in room (first stay of mine in any hotel. Where no table and chair provided in room in a hotel. Congested Small Bath Rooms.

Overall good for family stay
This was my third stay at this hotel. Pros: good price compared to the location, close to the Masjid an-Nabawi, quick customer service. Cons: Mattress was poor (the springs of the mattress was hurting), poor or almost no wifi at room (I was at 13th floor and wasn’t told about this while check in).

Needs improvement
Stayed there for 4 nights. Towels changed for only 2 days. Could not communicate with simplest English with the man at the reception. Crowded lifts made worse by 2/4 malfunctioned.. Made even worse with no special lift for those with wheel-chairs.

Very disappointing experience, not clean, toilets are very old, wasn’t enough toilet rools inside even though I did ask for it. Staff are not friendly, inside is very narrow. Overall I had a worse experience with my family.

Rooms sizes are very small
The hotel is totally not comfortable starting from payment which should be cash in KSA currency because visa machine does not work, the access keys are malfunction even for my neighbor rooms they have same problem, the rooms sizes are very small, the pipes of water drainage in the only single toilet are blocked and they did not give attention except last day even i have gave them complains from first arrival hour, the air condition controller is not working properly , adding last problem which is Hotels.com mistake that there is no free WiFi at room.

Disappointed
At the entrance the hotel was OK but the lobby furniture is out dated and old. The staff at reception speak some English but they make no eye contact and speak very little. When It came to payment, the hotel had no system to pay by card so I had go out and look for Cash machine, as it was my first time and late at night and prayer time it was not easy to find a cash machine, so it was first disappointment. I had booked a queen bed for myself and wife and three single beds room for my three children but I was given five single beds. When we looked at bed the pillow covers and bed cover had not been changed as it still had marks and broken hair on it, it was changed later when I complained about it. The carpet in the room had stains and iron marks. No tea pot , no glass for water in the room, contacted reception, I was directed to service no 4, requested them to supply tea pot , iron a few times but never delivered. The bathroom have small shower place with a curtain which take ages to be adjusted so that the water stay in the shower tray. You can not use room phone for external phone call and If you ask at reception they refuse to help you with a taxi booking. I was getting late for Jeddah airport and I did not have local phone number so was literally begging the reception staff to ring my taxi as it was very late for the scheduled time but they pretended to be helpless.. The breakfast was good and well organised. And during our three days stay we enjoyed it every day.
