They gave our room keys to extended family without our consent before we arrived. I was informed by the receptionist that anyone could check in for you if you have an online reservation even if they are not on the reservation. What? Our door was broke and would not lock. The carpet and floor was wet and slippery when we arrived and remained the entire stay (gross!). I am guessing from condensation from humidity. No good air circulation in the room. Idk it was gross. I have never experienced that. There was no pool usage or bathing prior too. Showhead was broke so you could only use bath.

The entire hotel room smelled like mildew. The beds were not comfortable and they bedding looked 100 years old. The door lock would not lock properly from the inside. I decided to leave because I didn’t feel Dad’s.

The hotel was clean, staff was pleasant and helpful, however, the RV park needs to be cleaned up - it appeared to us that the long term RVers should be made to keep their site picked up. If these are not long-term guests, then facilities/management should be more detailed orientated and request cleanup. It was distributing to see the RV site in a mess.

Inexpensive No-Frills Accommodation
I have no issues with this hotel. It is located in McGregor, TX which is a small, rural community, located about 20 minutes SW of Waco. I used the Buy Now, Pay Later service called Zip (formerly QuadPay) to book this room and had no issues. They also didn't have a problem with another party checking into this room prior to my arrival, provided they knew ahead of time. They offer clean rooms, clean bedding, have good water pressure and provide a quiet, no-frills experience. A small sundry and vending machine is located in the lobby. There are signs indicating when breakfast hours are, but I'm unsure what type of breakfast they offer. I didn't rate the service or location because I never interacted with the hotel staff and I didn't travel out of the area to have an opinion on how the location fared
