"This guest house is like a hostel in many ways but with the creative use of one lot not a huge property as I thought it would be. We had booked a tent experience which is a screen tent, holding a bed, night tables, lamp and fan, below a roof and side walls. Our unit had a whole side section about 6ft without a barrier so we could see to the next tent, wooden slats around the tent are not together which lets air flow in but gives little privacy. The gate style wooden door into our tent was not...

"What a great place to unwind and clear your mind - quiet, calming and space to wander. Great little units and ensuite, kitchen is open 24/7 - vegetarian only (BYO). All of the facilities you need to recharge."

"I had a wonderful stay and would recommend Airlie Guest house to anyone. Fabulous house with plenty of space for all guests to enjoy (inside or out), short walk to the middle of town and Mick was a gracious host who can set guests up with tours. A lovely breakfast spread of cereals, toast / jams / etc, fresh fruit and even fresh muffins on occasion. The view and outside deck was my favourite. "

"The resort is situated on a hillside with an amazing view over Daintree Forrest. If you stay in the orchid suite then you have a garden with a view over this beautiful area. It’s calm and you hear birds chirping from early morning to late evening. The room we had was big. You fit two people with suitcases easily. Very beautiful and romantic decorated room with a comfortable bed, also romantically decorated. You have a fan that is perfectly located so it’s giving fresh wind on your legs more...
