The property and furniture is old and worn out. Bad odor in rooms and hallways. Strong smoke odor in 1st room assigned. Thankfully they changed our room. Overall it worked-we had a bed and shower.

I was mislead and coming international to stay. Pictures and description of so called family suite were inaccurate and not as expected. Had to ask for another room, as 1st reservation was dirty and stunk of smoke. Place is to be fully renovated in 2 months time, big metal disposal bins were lined up outside front of hotel. Suite was old, and in very poor conditions and dirty. I had to reclean everything. The common spaces, elevator and hallways we also unkept regularily in my 8 night stay. The rooms had been smoked in prior and place was old and unkept. Fast food was next door, and located near highway 50. The outdoor pool and hot tub were never cleaned, bugs and debris in them daily. Only convenient if you rent a vehicle like I did.

The carpet is dirty in the room. The lights were not plugged in and the clock radio does not work and the TV also does not work! Someone needs to check the rooms once cleaned since it is obvious that the cleaner did not fix these issues.

As a guest at the Hawthorn Suites. I mostly enjoy how close by and the walking distance the restaurants and gas stations were to the hotel. it makes it so convenient to walk your dog, knowing it is safe to be out in the evening. I’m one very happy guest. I will RSVP a room when I’m in the area again.

It smelled like there was a rotting corpse in our room. There was trash all over the hotel, hallways and in our room. I requested a different room that was equivalent of or an upgrade and I was refused. I was offered a smaller room at no discount. Because of the stench in my our room the gentleman at the front desk handed me a bottle of febreeze and basically said deal with it. It was late when we checked in and had no other place we could stay in such short notice within our budget. I paid a decent amount for a comfortable stay and it was horrible. Honestly you couldn’t pay me to stay in a place like that. I want my money back.

Very sad to say that $150 a night is way too much for a place that has sticky residue and grime on countertops. No clocks in the room, because people are living there on vouchers and clocks are likely to be stolen.I felt like I had to wear shoes the entire entire time in my room due to the condition of the flooring, and the staff was unavailable at the desk. One of the people who appeared to reside there warned me to expect office staff as often away from the desk.

Check in was simple and the attendants were all wonderful! The breakfast buffet was good and the server ladies were so nice. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and the grounds were well kept. The room was quiet on the 3rd floor and clean enough. The King bed we had was very comfy with plenty of linens. Even the pull out couch was alright. Only Negatives were that there is a significant gap in the door when shut that let in light and sounds from hall and gave a slight sense of insecurity for the family. The screen on the window (that thankfully didnt open) is detached and seems a liability. Some lights flickered while on, but not too much. Lots of cosmetic damage on furniture in forms of stains, cracks, scratches, and holes but everything was functional and clean. We OVERALL loved our stay and were comfortable and would recommend to friends and stay again. Thank you to the staff!👍

Hotel is fine, you pay for what you get. The property is just old. So is the furniture, the coffee makers are old and dirty. All around 7 out of 10. Near fwy, dining, etc. Great value for the price.

Breakfast was good. Facility could use some upgrades. The window privacy curtains were torn and had holes. The door to the room didnt fit right. Let in alot of light and noise. Otherwise hotel was good.

Worth the time to read. Disgusting.
I will never book this again. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag, as soon as we walked in the room and with great surprise it had a weed smell. My partner and i dont mind it but we had our kids with us. No other room that matched ours so we couldnt move. The pull out couch mattress was disgusting/stained and the cusion zipper was broken so the foam was exposed. It was after 10pm and we were tired from a 3 hr drive so we just called it a night. Front desk didnt seem to care.
