Mountain Beauty in splendid isolation
The hotel is set on a hillside overlooking a beautiful valley. Lovely spacious rooms with large beds. The level of maintenance is poor, my room sprang several leaks when it rained and a fresh coat of paint would have made all the difference, some shoddy repair work suggested a low budget which didn't reflect the price levels. Having said that, the staff are absolutely wonderful..very obliging and friendly. The restaurant is a small area with tables near the reception and nearest eateries are a 20 minute drive away or take the free shuttle into Ubud...if you like isolation then this is for you...but to be fair, I was looking for a break away from it all and this place provided exactly that. If they upped their game on maintenance , this would be perfection.

El hotel esta súper bien pero se tiene que pagar para las habitaciones luxury sino las habitaciones normales son muy viejas. Mi consejo para una estancia muy cómoda sería luxury suites.

Most amazing view
This is the sixth time I am returning to this hotel because of the amazing view from the villa. I have explored many surrounding resorts but this one has one of the most amazing view. The hotel is quite run down now and would definitely need a good renovation soon.

This hotel is amazing!!!! And the staff are so friendly and the food is the best!!!! I would stay here everytime I visit Bali!!!! Oka the manager did everything in his power to welcome us!!!! And make us feel at home! Love love love the pool!

Hotel is in need of maintenance. Sun deck railing close to dangerously rotten. In all 10 villas the bathroom windows where broken. Price and quality not close to match.

Отель стоит своих денег. Виды с балконов потрясающие. Меню чрезмерно обширное для отеля на 10 бунгало. Есть смысл сократить количество блюд и сфокусироваться на качестве. Отель расположен в отдаленном районе, пожтому нет смысла весь отпуск проводить в нем, но для 3-4 дней идеально подходит.

Great but has bugs
It was a great place to stay if you really want a day off the city and just relax and rewind. But keep in mind it's no 5 star hotel. There will be bugs inside the room. I love the a la carte breakfast. And there were not a lot of guests at the time, so the resort feels like ours. And the staffs sure made it feel like it.

Staying in Jurassic Park
This is a magical place that lets you overlook the jungle. Everyone is really nice, you feel like an Amazonian goddess waking up to paradise. Just go. It was such a great time.

Nice tranquility place
A place where you can rest and have a piece. During the wet season humidity is somewhat a trouble and the traffic can be a nightmare if you want to go somewhere

Stay At Your Own Risk
Not sure how to rate this place. It's in the middle of no where so basically you are stuck here unless have your own transportation. The resort is located on a mountain top with beautiful views but that's about it. The food was below average. I made a big mistake my not reading prior reviews before booking this place. If you are not a lizard or house gecko lover then PLEASE stay away. I had to leave this place in the middle of the night being disturbed by house geckos. I will however give the staffs an applaud for the great service specially Meli. She has able to transfer me to another resort Atta Mesari which happen to be run by the same chain of resorts. I had paid way too much for staying here rather than Atta Mesari Villas but was never refunded. Over all I will say, stay here at your own risk & expect house gecko/gecko under your blanket.

Prachtig resort, prachtig uitzicht
Je kiest dit hotel voor je Indonesië ervaring. Prachtig uitzicht, midden in de jungle. Mooie kamers, alleen niet bang zijn voor insecten aangezien je midden in de jungle zit. Een klamboe helpt, maar die is voor handen. Veel activiteiten in de regio, maar niks op loopafstand.

Lever ikke op til forventningerne
Hotellets madpriser var dobbelt så høje, i forhold til alle andre steder på Bali. Portionerne var meget små, og sprgte man om ekstra ris, måtte man betale for det. Ligesom ved morgenmaden, hvor vi bedte om et ekstra æg. Det ekstra æg, tog de 12 dkr for. Vi fortalte nogle taxichaufførere om priserne, og de synes også det var grotesk, da det kun skyldes, at der ingen andre madmuligheder er i nærområdet. Vi fik roomservice. Her glemte personalet gentagende gange ting til morgenmaden; skeer, kaffekopper, salt pebber. Personalet hentede først det brugte service og madrester dagen efter, selvom vi ringede og gjorde opmærksomme på, at vi var færdige med maden. Da hotellet befinder sig midt i skoven, medførte dette en hær af myrer og fluer, hvilket gjorde det umuligt at befinde sig på teressen. Personalet er søde, og der er ok mulighed for gratis transport til Ubud centrum (som altså er 40 min. kørsel!!) Puri Sebatu lever ikke op til forventningerne om et 4-stjernet hotel...

My stay in Bali
My villa at the Puri Sebatu Resort was amazing. This place is a little bit of paredice . We stayed in no 3 and our view was 2 volcanos and forest. The villas are stunning ,a little bit of luxury. However it had a couple of maintinence problems. There are a lot of stairs and when I came back from Ubud one night going to our villa the hand rail gave way and I almost went straight over the top. They replaced them 2 days later. Next day the curtain poll and curtains came down on my head. I think maintinence need to be given more priority. The staff are great . The breakfast was good. If you were to buy meals here they are expensive and you have a 21% tax added. Good job they have a free shuttle to and from Ubud 3 times a day that we made good use of. This place is really out of the way. It takes 45 min to get to Ubud. It might be helpful to know that you can barter with the taxi and they will be all your for the day , £30

Value for money
Very nice hotel, cozy. The only bad thing we faced was the insects. I don't think this has anything to do with the hotel anyway, it's the same everywhere in Ubud, but at the hotel it was extreme since it's in the middle of the jungle right into the mountain. View was gorgeous, very good terrace, great food. It's about 20-minute drive from Ubud center, so if you don't mind the distance, it's a great option.

A unique jungle stay
We really enjoyed our stay here. The setting is serene, the staff are lovely and the villas are truly unique. To make it super perfect I'd 1) tidy up some of the paint work in the bathroom (some of it looked a bit haphazard in ours which was a shame!) and 2) clean the bathroom windows - the water stains mar the beautiful views! The bedroom itself though was flawless and beautiful, and very private with a large personal balcony from which to look at the hills in the day and the stars at night. Transfers into Ubud were no problem at all, and the volcano is easily accessible for a morning walk.

Nice hotel very quiet
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights for our honeymoon. The staff were so friendly and so willing to help. The hotel is very far from shops, restaurants and stores so you will have to take a shuttle into the city to shop and eat. However, the hotel offers a shuttle that goes into the city 3 times a day and they also have 3 different pick up times. If relaxation and a quiet place is what you want then this is the place for you. They also, offer various tour packages but the prices are higher than city prices.

リラックスできるようでできない・・・
文字通り、自然に囲まれた素敵なロケーションでした。 何もせず、ゆっくりしようと思って行ったのですが、ひとりだったため、本当に何もすることが無かった（笑） 参加しようと思っていたヨガセッションも、毎日はなかったので1度だけの参加でした。 ミニハイク付きのcleansing body は観光客も少なく、貴重な体験ができ、同行してくれたスタッフもフレンドリーで満足です。 天気がいまひとつだったこともありますが、部屋の中全体、クローゼットやベッドリネンまで湿っていました。 湿っている上にたくさんの蟻がいて、クローゼットは使わず終いです。 山の中なので仕方ないですが、とにかく虫が多く、日中から蚊帳を広げておかないと、ベッドが虫や天井に居る何者かの落とし物で汚れてしまいます（一見ロマンティックな蚊帳は、広げるとあちこち破れていて、テープで貼ってありました）。 広いテラスのデイベッドで読書をしていても、レストランで食事をしていても、物凄い数のハエが寄ってきて、気になってしかたなかったです。 そんなに神経質なつもりはなく、ある程度の覚悟はしていたつもりですが、ベッドの周りにも出没するチチャとどこにでも入り込む蟻、屋外では大量のハエにたかられ、私にはあまりにもワイルド過ぎて、リラックスするどころではありませんでした。

Paysage grandiose
Le principale atout de cet hotel est la vue sur les vallées de cafetiers surplombées par les volcans : tout simplement magnifique. Le service et la nourriture sont dignes des grands hôtels. Le confort des chambres est correct, mais la climatisation est toute juste suffisante : une bonne note aux nuits fraîches qui aident à climatiser. Pour être parfait, ce resort aurait besoin d'un bon coup de peinture et de quelques réaménagements au goût du jour. Somme toute, nous avons adoré notre séjour malgré l'éloignement du site. L'endroit rêvé pour se ressourcer avant de reprendre la route pour découvrir les mille et un paysages magnifiques que Bali vous réservent.

Das Hotel bietet absolute Entspannung. In ruhiger Dschungellage ist das kleine Hotel mit einem super Komfort. Wunderschöne Bungalows mit Traumbädern. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Das Restaurant bietet gutes Essen und ist für den deutschen Vergleich auch günstig. Für Verhältnisse auf Bali allerdings eher im hören Preisniveau. Die Spa-Anwendungen sind gut, würde ich aber aus preislichen Gründen kein 2. Mal machen. Auch hier ist es für deutsche Verhältnisse günstig, doch für Balipreise sehr teuer. Die 60 Minuten Baliganzkörpermassage kostete 555.000,- IDR. In vergleichbaren hochwertigen Spa-Tempeln lag der Preis zwischen 120.000,- bis 150.000,- IDR. In der Stadt in normalen Massageläden bei 70.000,- bis 90.000,- IDR.

Hidden gem
Beautiful relaxing resort in the mountains. Only 10 secluded villas, all carefully spaced to ensure you feel as if you have the valley view all to yourself from your private balcony. King sized bed faces eastward, so you have the option of being woken (not too early) by the sun easing itself between the distant volcano peaks and over the opposite valley wall. If you prefer you can block it with the dark curtains for a leisurely lie in (we couldn't resist the lure of the warming sun on the bed each morning). The resort itself is quite sparse, with only an open dining area and a small infinity pool disappearing off the edge of the valley, however with only 10 villas we often felt as if we were the only people in the world. Often the loudest noise of an evening were the frogs and the geckos trading calls. Huge bath could fit 4 people, and the rainfall shower with river pebble floor was a delight.

美丽的酒店
是个看星星的好地方，在没有光污染的山谷里，看到了长这么大都没看过那么多的星星，还有疑似银河的东西。就是交通不方便，做免费班车去乌布市场要40多分钟，去机场要一个半小时，周围没什么出租车，只能利用酒店订车，价格贵些。周末没有可逛的，只能在酒店吃饭，价格贵些。

Reposant !
Nous sommes restés 4 nuits dans cet hôtel avec une magnifique vue ! La chambre la salle de bain et la grande terrasse furent très appréciables ! Calme et ressourçant avec un service de qualité. En revanche l'hôtel est à 40mn d'Ubud et une fois rentré il n'y a pas grand chose à faire c'est le seul bémol.

Phenomenal Stay - great staff, perfect view
I chose this hotel for my boyfriend and I's last night stay in Bali. It was a little out of Ubud but there is a free shuttle that operates at certain times and the drive is really pleasurable. The hotel offers a pick up as well at 150,000Rp and compared to what other taxis would offer that's definitely a steal. The room was amazing, we woke up to the sunrise over the volcanos and lush area. My only problem with the room was that the sliding doors to the balcony would blow in the wind as there wasn't a bottom track for them and the hot water for the bath was at times finicky. But, other than that the stay was incredible. The staff were great and the food was unreal I loved the breakfast that was served. It's a very relaxing hotel and I would absolutely stay here again.

What a gem of a hotel!
From the moment we walked into the place to the moment we left we felt at home. The views are totally outstanding and the staff is super attentive to the requests of their guests. The room was well appointed with everything one would need to have a relaxing trip. We stayed in Villa 102 and the view was outstanding. There is lots of choices on the menu for the breakfasts and the staff got to know our particular customized orders after the second day. The area sorrounding the hotel is awfully quiet but thats one of the biggest reasons to check in at this place, to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bali

Ein Traum wird wahr!
Super tolles Hotel. Die Lage, mitten in den Bergen, mit Aussicht auf dem Wulkan und Sonnenaufgang hat wierklich seinen Charme. Die ganze Manschaft die dort arbeitet ist super super nett. Man fühlt sich quasi wie Zuhause. Ich bin einige Tage mit meiner Freundin dort gewesen und wir fanden, dass das Ganze Paket hervorragend war. Von den Leuten, über die Zimmer (incl. Ausstattung), bis hin zum Essen war alles perfekt! Wir hatten einen schönen Moment und falls es einmal zurück nach Bali gehen sollte, dann werden wir mit grosser Sicherheit wieder das Sebatu Resort wählen!

Go for the view and peacefulness
Room very big, comfortable, think eco chic or glamorous camping but indoor. Dont expect spotless, there will always be bugs or bug stains, you are in the forest. I stayed in villa 1 with very good wifi and close to pool and reception so conenient walking but of course a little less private but as in low season, i saw mainly workers fixing the villa close by.. Villas spread out so no bother for this. In villa 1, the romantic sunken tub leaks so water can not fill up. Service very lacking as few customers. Surrounding and Room almost 5 stars but sevice 1-2 stars. Go if u want to get away from it all!

Séjour inoubliable
Le cadre est magnifique, loin de l'agitation d'Ubud (à 30 minutes en voiture). Les villas sont spacieuses, avec une magnifique salle de bain. Vous vous reveillez le matin avec le soleil se levant sur la jungle: depaysement assuré. La piscine à debordement est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner et les plats proposés à la carte sont de très bonne qualité.

Excellent - fantastic value for money
Amazingly romantic and meticulously set over a stunning backdrop of hanging rice paddies. Pool is nice too. Only drawback is the distance to Ubud centre - 45min.

most dishonest hotel
The hotel location is far from every where but the hotel does not provide sufficient free shuttles to the town centre and the ones that it does offer is on the most inconvenient time. The hotel was very dishonest about their price of airport pick up. I was quoted USD40 on the phone then an e-mail confirmation quoted me USD50 and another USD70!!!! the food was most disgusting. it was not freshly made. The food was served with small portion not enough to for even a child! Average waiting time for food ordered at restaurant was 40-60 mins !!! the hotel admin team were most unorganised. we did not have wifi in our rooms for the first 4 days of our stay and after i complained first the lady said that they dont provide wifi in the room and it is only availalbe at the reception area but when I contacted a male staff he connected our wife in our room !! we found the staff also very dishonest and they lied about prices of every thing. I have stayed at 78 hotels in my life time as I travel for work at well and I have never stayed at such a terrible hotel. the food and service was simply disgusting and I would never ever would go back there again.

발리를7번방문했는데. 가장워스트호텔중하나네요. 전망이훌륭하다는데 그냥볼품없는. 선입니다. 행인가든이나. 하다못해코마네카정도라도. 기대하고가시면실망합니다. 무엇보다큰문제는 직원들의무성의한접객태도입니다. 두번째날 벼룩인지 배드버그에물려 온몸이붉은반점으로. 뒤덥었는데도 약은커녕 코맨트란에적으라는한마디가. 전부더군요. 그리고가관인거는. 시간외도아닌데 셔틀비를받고 가는도중직원의끈질긴. 관광권유로. 매우불쾌한경험이었습니다. 2년도안되었다는호텔이 매운탕과 욕실은비가새고 여하튼두번다시가고싶지않은곳입니다

Kind staff, disappointing stay
First of all, there is no getting around the fact that the cleanliness is just not up to par. While some of this is a result of being so close to nature (thus the mosquito netting around the bed), a lot of it is a result of a lack of attention to detail. There were stains on sheets, mold in wardrobes and tissue boxes, and a lot of other small things that should be put in order. However, it was the flood in our room (about four centimeters of flowing rain) that finally lead us to check out early. The view is priceless, the breakfast very good, and the staff warm and friendly, but that cannot overcome the flaws in conditions.
