Unique and Special
I have stayed here multiple times and it gets better with each stay from the friendly staff to the maintenance of this unique and special property. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great Boutique hotel
I love Bali Ginger Suites. This is the third time I have stayed at this property. I normally like to move around and stay at different places, but this small boutique hotel is just lovely. The position is perfect, the staff are so friendly and the value for what you pay is really good. This time I stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom private villa with our own pool. This villa is lovely, quite spacious and more than enough room for 2 couples to share. It is so lovely to be able to relax in your own private area. The pool is large enough to relax in, not quite do laps, but certainly big enough for 4 people to cool off in. An extensive breakfast was served each day to our villa, all ordered from an a la cart menu. The location is great, just a short walk to either Jl Drupadi, or JL Camplung Tanduk, it is literally 10 minutes from everywhere.

Little Gem
Great location, small and intimate with multiple accommodation options, great service and individualised attention. I have stayed here several times and it gets better each time. I don't advise it for families with children.

Good but lacks the Bali feeling
Good location, and comfortable bed. However property lacked some of the soul of Bali that is in the soft tones, smiles, and attention to detail.

Heavily in need of restoration. The pictures represent the property well but with make-up on. Must be very old pictures. Upkeep very sloppy. Breakfast seml ok -very small though. Staff was super nice.

We stayed twice at Bali Ginger Suites during our 2 week trip to Bali, at the beginning and end of our trip. We really loved the small boutique feel of this place. There were no children staying there which helped to keep it quiet. With only 10 rooms you get to know all of the staff. we stayed in a pool access room. The rooms are simply decorated, but very comfortable. My bed was really nice to sleep in, with lovely linen. The pool is small, but big enough to cool down in on a warm day. The breakfast is fairly limited, but they have an espresso machine and the coffee is really very good. The location is great, not far from anything. 5 min to Jl Legian, less than 10 min to the beach or Eat St. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend it to others.

Mooi boutique hotel
Bali Ginger Suites ligt op een goede locatie en is kleinschalig. De kamers zijn groot, het beddengoed is superzacht, waardoor je heerlijk slaapt. Het zwembad is lekker en het personeel aardig. Ze hebben er echt alles aan gedaan om mijn verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Kan het alleen maar aanraden!

Perfect haven
A quiet relaxing refuge despite being in quite a busy area. The two of us stayed in a one bedroon villa which was excellent. Housekeeping offered daily and breakfast was delicious each morning. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping us organise activities during ou stay. Will definately be back

Chambre avec accès direct piscine très agréable
Les chambres avec accès direct à la piscine sont très agréables. Hôtel proche de l’aéroport, agréable quand on arrive d’un long voyage! Le petit déjeuner peut être servi en chambre. État général Sympa mais un rafraîchissement serai un plus.

Hidden Gem
The villa is hidden and sometimes hard to find but it is located close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Any problems we had, the staff made sure we were pleased with the service. The room we had was spacious and clean. If you're not a fan of the wild life I suggest you get a room where the bathroom is not outdoors because you will have crawling visitors. Overall great stay!

hier hin gehen wir sofort wider, Danke
diese Hotel ist ein wenig versteckt in einer Gase. 3.min zu fuss und man steht wider im Trubel. 10.min. zu fuss und man ist schon am Strand. Das Zimmer wird 3 mal am tag gereinigt, am morgen, nach dem man am Strand war und sich wider auf den weg gemacht hat zum essen, Ausgang... und wen man nachhause gekommen ist nochmals. Ihr Zeichen das sie hier waren ist: die Bettdecke wird immer wider neu und anders gefalten. Es wird sich um einem ganz freundlich gekümmert und das morgenessen wird sogar im Zimmer serviert, so toll.

Great staff
We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa, which they had set up nicely with 1 double and 2 twin beds. Staff at the villa are absolutely outstanding, they can't do enough to help you and remember your names, and always go out of their way to greet you and ask if you need anything. The plunge pool in the villa was nice, as was the separate bathrooms and the bug spray provided to spray your rooms with. The only thing i think they could improve on was that the beds were a bit hard and the pillows weren't great - if they could get some feather pillows it would have been 5 stars for everything!

Convenient location, with some drawbacks
Bali Ginger is very conveniently located right off a busy street in Seminyak. Very easy to run to a convenience store or catch a cab. I even got a creambath at a spa less than 5 minutes walk from here. However, on some nights the music from a nearby bar/nightclub can be a bit bothersome. Staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, and the Double Happiness suite was beautifully decorated and offered a lot of space and storage.

balcony room was kitchenette with screen wall = no balcony, with view of alley. complained to staff, "yeah, this is the balcony". rustic furnishing, bathroom okay. Grunpy reception check in, Bar tender polite.

Hi, thanks for taking time to write a review for us. I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the room that you booked. As you make the booking and see the photos of the room, you will find the photo of the balcony which is an enclosed-balcony with Balinese breeze blocks. The definition of balcony itself is a platform enclosed by a wall or balustrade on the outside of a building, with access from an upper-floor door. Which is exactly what we have. Whether it is open or closed, that kitchenette is on a balcony and we show this on the photos. The reason we built an enclosed-balcony instead of the fully open-balcony is for comfort and safety reason.

The perfect Seminyak hotel!
Bali Ginger Suites was our favorite hotel, room, breakfast and staff during our trip! We stayed in Ubud and South Kuta in nice places, but nothing compared to perfect location, food options, amazing room and warm, welcoming staff! Our room and outdoor and indoor areas! The bedroom was cool, great bed and TV, the shower was open air as was the kitchenette and front sitting area. Perfect to eat your complimentary banana pancakes or muesli and yummy coffee!

A nice quiet location
My friend and I stayed for a week and would recommend BGS. The rooms were clean, the service excellent and the location was really quiet. They've even sound proofed the rooms to make sleeping easy. It didn't matter that we were away from the center of town as it was easy (and cheap) to catch a cab. The beach and restaurants were within walking distance. Providing breakfast and free spring water was a big attraction for us as we didn't have to worry about bottled water every day or leave our accommodation to search for breakfast. They provided towels for the pool and the beach. The only down side for us was guests could smoke anywhere which diminished the enjoyment of lying by the pool for us non-smokers.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool is very small but some rooms look out over the water and have nice terraces when you can have drinks and meals. Nice well-equipped little kitchens. The very commercial street with cafes and night clubs leading to the beach is just around the corner. But the hotel is wonderfully quiet

Relaxing Small Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very helpful and arranged tours and transfers quickly and efficiently. The pool was nice with day beds just outside our door. Breakfast is delivered to your room each day so you can sit and enjoy in your private dinning area. The hotel is close to many restaurants and not too far from the beach, which we walked to each day.

Lovely little apartments, quite close to the Main Street but a good 10-15 minute walk away from seminyak square (which in the heat isn't too great). Absolute 5** staff, attentive and always catering for your needs. Air con wasn't very cold, wifi signal wasn't strong in the rooms. But other than those minor aspects it was a perfect stay, with great staff and a nice atmosphere :)

Hi, and thank you for your lovely review and feedback. We have full-time maintenance staff so I will get them to take a look at the air-con and wi-fi (actually we have recently upgraded our wi-fi because we know hoe important it is for guests, so I think this may no longer be an issue).

We stayed at Bali ginger villas for 5 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel staff was super friendly and obliging. I loved the breaky granola and cappuccino each morning!! The villas are just around the corner from one of seminyak's main roads and walking distance to eat street and the beach. Great value

Excellent choice in Seminyak
We stayed here for 2 nights and were very impressed overall. The room was clean and the air conditioning was already turned on when we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, special mention to Vita who assisted us with check out. We had a late evening flight home and despite checking out at 12pm, the hotel staff were happy to store our luggage and we were given use of another room at 5pm to have a shower and change our clothes before heading to the airport. Breakfast is a set menu of 4 choices and was quite good. Coffee was superb. Note that many taxi drivers have trouble finding this hotel so if arriving by taxi, make sure you can show them a map on your phone (if already at the hotel, grab a business card as it has a map on it). Location is convenient, many places are within walking distance or a metered taxi will take you anywhere in Seminyak for 30k rupiah. We would happily stay here again.

Great little resort
Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the fact it was a very small resort, access to pool from room was great.

A Top Value Stay
It was a fantastic stay at Bali Ginger Suites! The room is simple but still beautiful. The bathroom with its outdoor shower was perfect. The bed was so comfortable. I had the poolside room, which was totally worth it. Eating breakfast beside the beautiful pool each morning was a terrific way to start the day. The room was always clean, plenty of water was provided which was fantastic. The breakfast was simple but good (the coffee was delicious!). The neighborhood was a little walk to everything, but not anything out of the way. The most important thing was that the staff was terrific though! They really made it all come together. A terrific value for a quiet place in Seminyak!

Modern but personal hotel with a great a location and service. I can highly recommened this stay and would certainly come back!

Mooi hotel op lelijke locatie
Mooi boutique hotel, echter de toegang langs twee lelijke smalle gangen vanuit de hoofdstraten is teleurstellend. Het lijkt net of je op weg bent naar een goedkoop backpackers hostel. Voorstel om de lelijke muren door locale jonge kunstenaars te laten beschilderen of versieren.

Ik hou van je suggestie om jonge kunstenaars aan de nabijgelegen muren te schilderen te krijgen, en denken dat het zou kunnen maken voor een nog meer levendige entree. De muren helaas zijn in particulier bezit, dus het is niet iets wat we kunnen controleren, maar ik zal het bespreken met de buren. I love your suggestion to get young artists to paint the nearby walls, and think it could make for an even more vibrant entrance. The walls unfortunately are privately owned so it is not something we can control, but I will discuss it with the neighbours.
