Hello Mr LauWe are sorry that you do not feel your stay at O Villas did not live up to your expectations and were very perplexed at your poor review, we we feel we must address after our investigations.The “mould” you mention that was visible on the blinds and walls is perplexing, after searching for the “mould” there is no sign of it, the only thing we could possible think it may be is the water spots that appear on most buildings in Bali on several occasions throughout the year due to the humidity, which our team address on a regular basis.We were also surprised at the mention of the sofa’s “stinking” which as far as we know is the first time such a complaint has been made, although, to let you know, the day after you left the Villas all our lounge areas received brand new sofa’s, which were ordered several weeks prior to your visit.After discussions with our on-site manager, who has been employed for over 10 years at the Villas, regarding your stay, he enlightened us on an unfortunate occurrence on your 2nd day of your holiday, which might explain your comments regarding apparent smells, including the sofa area, he confirms that one or more of your party was unwell and seemed to have had “Bali Belly” he confirms that you had to call the staff to change all the sheets in the bedroom, which, as you know, they did immediately.Unfortunately, it then transpired that as a result of the illness, the toilet was too full due to one or more or your party suffering, which would seem to be the major cause of any unpleasant smell in the bedroom, toilet and possibly the sofa.You then go on to mention that the location “was also terrible” and that share drivers were reluctant to take you to the villas !!!!! This statement was the biggest shock of your whole complaint, our owners and their families and friends have been visiting the villas for 10 years and walk down the lane with their children and wife’s and also take taxi’s with never a problem in all that time, we just can not understand your comments, they are so unfounded and very strange, the lane is like thousands of other lanes in Bali which makes the Island iconic, as you know, there are several other luxury villa complex’s opposite O Villas.The Balinese are a very proud people and our staff are so confused with your review, we are all shocked and just can not understand how you can justify such statements. Thankfully online reviews on Expedia and other world renowned platforms do not replicate your observations or unfounded comments as we are very proud of the high ratings we enjoy. Once again, we are sorry you have felt the need to make such a review and we do hope that the whole family are all now well after suffering the illness while on holiday.
