We had stayed in an amazing hotel before coming to Akasha, and this hotel just didn't live up to our expectations for the price we paid (almost similar to the Udaya). The bathroom has a strong smell of sewerage, which I think is seeking out from the pipes. Kind of gross.
Our Tv wasn't working well. The pictures were blurry like it was a 3D movie. We called reception to check it out, they didn't manage to fix it and said they will do so the next day, but they still hadn't.
They use glass bottles for shampoo and soap, and due to the shelf being wet, the bottles actually slid off and broke on the floor. They charged us $15 for it, which I felt was overpriced seeing as it was Bali. I left a feedback saying that such glass bottles shouldn't be used because of the fact they can fall and break so easily in a bathroom setting!! Ridiculous that they couldn't waive off the charge as it was an accident and "It was procedure" and it has entirely soured my experience! Furthermore, toothbrush and toothpaste sets were not provided in the room which I thought was a hotel standard.Even my $60 hotel in Jimbaran provided full toiletries.
Not value for money, poor facilities, poor customer serviceand empathy, not recommended.
Locationwise it's far from the shopping area, but it's good if u want to go to the beach.
