The property is clean and the staff responsive. We think it a bit ridiculous that they charge $100 per night for a small pet.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and for the area, this is probably the cleanest hotel and decent for the price point. What is hard for me to accept was no parking and the amount charged for valet. This makes the hotel extremely inconvenient with parking and accessible to the car as the parking garage is in the back of the building for a separate fee. Upon arrival, it is hard to tell what to expect from the hotel, as valet is out front typically and when we arrived there was no one there to assist. We weren’t greeted until we physically were facing the front desk which is odd since the front desk faces the entrance of the hotel. Staff is friendly, but asking for things felt a bit uncomfortable. We had consistent trouble with our key malfunction several times through out our time here and needed new keys 3 times. Which felt like a hassle because we were on the 8th floor and had to wait outside/called to have someone fix it. On our first day we called for valet to bring out our car in advance, and when we went downstairs we had to ask for the car to be pulled up again. The cafe staff and food was good, just not enough variety and it is very pricey especially for convenience. Other than the items listed, if this doesn’t bother you, it’s a nice stay as the rooms are kept pretty clean— just consider that they are small rooms.

It’s a very modern and lovely hotel which I loved. My only complaint is the noise. You can literally hear people in the hall talking. The walls are very thin. You can literally hear people urinating in the morning.

It’s a beautiful hotel, but the only issue I had was Parking. Unlimited amount of parking space so I had to park on the street but overall experience was nice.

We had a great stay. The only thing was I was not aware of the $30.00 a day fee for parking valet only. Just wanted others to be aware ahead. Really nice place to stay and very comfortable and stylish.

Excellent hotel
We needed a quick get a way from New Jersey and found this lovely hotel in Connecticut, close to the children’s museum we were going to. Everything in the room was new and very clean. The hotel is in walking distance to a lot of restaurants which was a big plus for us. We would definetly return!

This hotel is clutch. Kenia at the front desk was soooo helpful. She gave me recommendations for food around the corner. It’s a great location. Literally , down the street on Main Street are great restaurants: Kouszina, Noche de Columbia and Jerkyz. My hotel room was soo clean ( I’m a germaphobe lol). The bed was soo comfortable, I forgot I was in a hotel. Also the Amtrak is 3 mins away. This is my stample hotel in Stamford

Clean but very disorganized staff
Staff was great but so disorganized they lost my 4 boxes i needed for a trade show that showed up in another storage area of the hotel the day after my event. It costs me an extra run to target, a late night and time online with ups. Least they could have done was comp valet or something but they had nothing to offer and no real answer.

Room was clean. Check in experience could have been better. Parking is not included. We had to do valet parking to be able to park close by which would have been ok if we didn’t wait such a long time for our car after calling ahead of time. Overrated, I do not plan to stay here again.

Great Hotel in a Great Location
The Lloyd is in a great location near Main Street in Stamford. There are many food options within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is efficient and courteous.

If I could rate the staff here higher than 5 stars I absolutely would. I travel a TON for work, so when I say I think that the Lloyd was the fastest, most efficient hotel check-in process that I've ever experienced, that's saying something I was in Stamford for the world's most boring corporate planning meetings, so having a great hotel to retreat to was incredible. 10/10 stay, will book again for sure.

Overall, The Lloyd is comfortable and convenient. They have valet parking, but no one to help you up the stairs with your luggage when you arrive. I’m surprised there’s no way to enter this hotel without a series of stairs. Staff is friendly and coffee shop coffee was surprisingly great! One thing I found myself wanting in the room was a closet since we were there for 3 nights. There is a large dresser though, and lots of hooks with hangers. No iron or ironing board, but they probably have one if you ask. Walls were a bit thin, I could hear the neighbor snoring, but it wasn’t horrible, basically because the place is so quiet. I’ve stayed here twice now, and I would again.

Review of a Room at the Lloyd Stamford
We reserved a deluxe room, but the room was the smallest we have ever stayed in. This is an Autograph hotel, but the offerings for breakfast were meager and no other meals are served. The staff were polite and helpful and the workout facility was adequate. Everything is painted black so how do the cleaning staff identify whether or not a room is clean?

I thought overpriced for the overall experience. Most everything seems new, but quite a few things already in need of repairs
