We stayed at both the Garden Tower and The Main while we were in Tokyo over 8 days and the New Otani was INCREDIBLE. No notes. The rooms are beautiful, cozy, and have beautiful views of the property. The staff is wonderfully attentive and beyond helpful. This is a must stay place if you are visiting Tokyo.

The staff at New Otani are super friendly and helpful! There are 37 restaurants in the hotel, though it’s a bit of a maze to find them all.

The hotel was nice enough, though a bit dated; but the service culture was stuck in the 1960s. We had to wait in line for breakfast. The pool closed at 5:00 because there are no lights. It’s nearly impossible to get dinner without a reservation and all 38 of the restaurants in the hotel are priced far above market. We would certainly not tolerate this nonsense again.

Very well located, walkable to Yotsuya and Akasaka-mitsuke stations where accessible to multiple train/metro lines. Walkable to the Imperial Residence (Hanzomon), Hie Shrine. A 7-eleven is just down the street, and Akasaka-mitsuke dining area is also walkable. Very quiet hotel, considering it is in the heart of Tokyo. Attentive staff. Room was clean and well well maintained, sufficiently sized. Will stay next time.

Very beautiful hotel with very kind staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. My only complaint is that the breakfast buffet was very mediocre and way too overpriced. I was also charged for it even after asking if it was included with our stay and was told yes (language barrier).

三重から神宮球場へ野球観戦の為宿泊しました。 非常にスタッフさんの対応もよくゴージャス感も十二分でした。朝食は会場が四つあるので一泊では堪能できませんでしたが種類も豊富で美味しかったです。 改装はされていますが、現在（2024/5/5）60周年イベントをやっているだけあって要所に歴史を感じる部分はありますが滞在になんら影響はありません。 ぜひまた行きたいです！

The grounds are stunning and the in room amenities were a nice surprise, especially the pajamas and array of toiletries. The staff here is exceptional, we often felt as though they could read our minds and were always a step ahead of our requests. For an English speaking guest this was a welcome surprise. I would come here again & recommend this hotel as a beautiful home away from home environment.

The customer service is excellent however the que to check in takes longer. Its golden week but it should already expected and place more staff to lessen the long wait times for checking in. Overall, I will stay here again and recommends to friends and family.

Absolutely amazing experience. What a beautiful property! Very high class vibe with many shops and restaurants on site, some on the higher end of the pricing scale. The hotel garden is picturesque at all times of the day/night giving some lovely opportunities for photos. The sky bar gives amazing views of the surrounding area, particularly at night once the lights come on. The various restaurant options on site cater for many different cuisines. Staff all super friendly and happy to help. Surround location is good, with Asakusa-Mitsuke station within a 5mins walk. Our room was a great size, with a nice large bed and large bathroom, perfect for relaxing in the bath after a long day on your feet exploring the Tokyo metropolis.

Situated within a stunning Japanese garden featuring koi, waterfalls, bridges, lakes and sweeping cherry trees. In light of the custom for small rooms elsewhere in Tokyo, The New Otani’s expansive rooms, corridors, hallways, retail floors, and dining areas are an absolute delight. Breakfast overlooking the garden was a particular high point as was the crystallised brown sugar packets, and free bath salts amongst many other toiletries. Highly recommend this hotel. Also, check out G’s Bar close by which is a wonderful stop of an evening for live jazz hosted by a lovely lovely barman-musoe.

While not for everyone, we liked the fact that it was a city within a hotel complex and a refuge after a long day of sightseeing. Great variety of restaurants in the hotel, excellent shopping. Extremely service oriented and beautiful lobby area and room.
