Nice staff, big room with nice balcony. Breakfast fine. Annoying sharp small step into bathroom, almost broke my toes twice. Small lizards in room and large ones on the balcony, perhaps to be expected on the edge of the jungle. Hot water available most of the time. Mineral water chiller/heater in room was great. As with most of Ubud, the road is slightly perilous for walking - no space for pedestrians, open drainage ditches and limited lighting. Sign outside is not obvious and easily missed.

Great hotel in the center of Ubud. Perfect for families traveling with children. Features a nice garden area with two pools. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast served is excellent. Highly recommended.

Alas Petulu was a great little hotel to stay in. Super friendly and helpful staff. Located on a small road off the main street of Ubud - so it's peaceful and quiet, yet very accessible to the town centre. Housekeeping services daily, and the rooms are kept very clean. Nice pools, and good breakfasts every morning too!

A hidden Oasis in Ubud
we loved the swimming pool area and the greenery, it was so quite and private that it didn't feel like nit was few minutes to Ubud centre. Great experience overall.

ラグジュアリースイートルームに宿泊しました。ベランダが広々していて、ウブドらしい緑を眺めながら過ごす時間が素晴らしいかったです。 スタッフもフレンドリーで笑顔で接してくれます。バリの人は人当たりが良くって大好きです！ 朝食はもう少しボリュームが欲しい所です。少額の追加料金でサイズアップは出来るようです。 通りからホテルまで、徒歩10分程の緩い上り坂は車やバイクの往来がそこそこあるので少し注意が必要です。 また機会があったら利用したいと思いました。

Room wasn't properly prepared when we were granted access ( Used towels left hanging in bathroom - and who knows what else? ). Our room (family room) looking a bit worn, though does look to be one of the earlier structures. Noisy dogs barking at night. Restraunt only open for breakfast but breakfast is OK. Great pool and landscaping. 10 min' walk to town. Great drinking water unit in room, every place should have one. Staff friendly. Overall a good experience but tainted by questionable room prep'.

We booked this hotel because of the beautiful pool area that we saw in the pictures. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with reality. The pool and the surrounding was dirty, without chaise lounge mattress and the construction of a building right there made the place awful. So the main reason that we chose this hotel was cancelled. The breakfast was simple and just 3 a la carte choices. If someone want extras as yogurt must pay.

Esse hotel é lindo. A área do hotel é grande, o meu quarto era ótimo com sacada e um banheiro bem grande. Amei o local e gostaria de ter ficado mais dias.Além de gostar muito do hotel e quarto, preciso dizer que os funcionários são maravilhosos, este foi meu último hotel em Ubud e posso dizer que foi o local em que os funcionários melhor me receberam, fizeram minha viagem mais especial. Eles tem uma área para o café da manhã mas também há opção de receber o café no quarto. No meu caso, o café da manhã foi servido na sacada do meu quarto (tinha um menu com 3 opções de café da manhã para escolha, nós escolhemos o indonésio e o americano, ambos bem servidos - frutas, suco natural, café ou chá , e pratos quentes) Tem muito verde no hotel, o que o torna mais lindo ainda, mas acaba tendo muitos insetos, então leve seu repelente! Fica a uns 5 minutos de uma das ruas principais, bem tranquilo de ir a pé. O Hotel possuí Wi-Fi nos quartos. RECOMENDO ESSE HOTEL, SE VOLTAR A BALI ELE É COM CERTEZA MINHA ESCOLHA

Family friendly hideaway in Central Ubud.
One of the best places I’ve stayed in with my two sons. They had their own room, our room on top floor with balcony and amazing view of the gorgeous gardens. The pools were amazing! Made extra special by the wonderful staff.

Fint ophold til 4 dage
Lækkert ophold og lækkert poolområde i udkanten af Ubud. Enkelt at gå rundt til diverse ting i Ubud (herunder Monkey Forest - dog ikke så interessant) og scooter til 60k, hvis man finder afstanden for lang. Fine værelser i 2 etager, dog kun med et toilet/bad i stueetagen. Kun 9 værelser, så der tilbydes kun morgenmads servering. Morgenmaden findes dog bedre ude i byen. Værelser rene og pæne.

Very disappointing.... I stayed there twice previously and had an urgent matter come up and they refused to make any changes or cancellations. They continued to send annoying messages asking me about arranging pricey transport. After I didn't show up, they continued to send me messages about my stay. It's like they have no attention to the customer whatsover and don't value return customers. I won't be back.

We are in or fifty’s and stayed 7 days we like to walk all the time we are here, the hotel is at one end of town so on your travels you can take in plenty of the town and shopping, we came to unwind and that’s exactly what we got from hotel staff and the pool very rewarding and will return next year

Facility and staff are good.
Nice place to stay with easy walk to downtown. The rooms were a good size. The furniture is dated. The breakfast was good and sizeable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, and it is not the fault of the owners/staff, the local roosters next door are ridiculous and woke my wife and I up every day very early- and they would not stop!!! For this reason alone I would be hesitant to stay here again. The walk to town can be tricky. There are only short distances that have sidewalks down the road you must walk to get downtown and the traffic can be significant at times and this can make you feel a little unsafe sometimes- you just have exercise caution. I never felt unsafe from anything in 2 weeks of vacation in Bali except for walking along this road at night simply due to the traffic sharing the road with you.

Wij hadden de honeymoon suite met zwembad op en op top!! Aanrader. Verder goed ontbijt kan in kamer gereserveerd worden of in restaurant , personeel vriendelijk. Binnen 10min lopen sta je in drukke centrum van Ubud.

Very nice and quiet during the day, great pool area and lovely rooms. Great air con. Quite loud at night with dogs barking but that is nothing the hotel can do about.

Nous avions réservé pour 3 personnes, 2 adultes et un enfant de 11 ans, malheureusement 1 seul lit dans la chambre, certes très grand. Prix trop élevé pour un lit d appoint. Ils ont facturé le 3em petit dej alors qu' il faisait parti de notre réservation. Malgré cela, cadre magnifique, bien placé, personnel souriant.

Con respecto a su queja sobre terceros, consulte la política de nuestro hotel en la confirmación de su reserva. Todos los niños de hasta 6 años pueden alojarse gratis si usan las camas existentes, pero el desayuno no está incluido. Los niños mayores pagarán 290000 IDR por noche y dormirán en una cama supletoria, el desayuno está incluido.

Very good accommodation in location not far from Ubud centre. Owners helpful and friendly. Pool great, rooms very good and hotel gardens nice. Breakfast was good with 3 options offered. Stayed in family room which had some stairs which may not be suitable for really young kids and neighbours dog barking annoying in early hours Would stay again.

Balinese hospitality shines through at this wonderful boutique hotel. I think there are 9 rooms, sort of "villa" style. Our room was immaculate! also spacious with a lovely view of the grounds. We had the one bedroom suite with the balcony. A la carte Breakfast daily was included and very good. Easy walk of a few "blocks" into town, although the road has no sidewalk so you have to watch out for the motorbikes. There were a few miscues with housekeeping (bath and hand towels first day, no hand towels second day, only hand towels 3rd day) but these were quickly resolved. The staff is gracious and friendly. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel with beautiful space.
The family cottage is very nice ans spacious for 4 people but no common space inside. However, there is porch. The hotel space is very nice with 2 pools and nature. The breakfast took quite a long time to serve, even with no guest. Good location, walkable distance to city center but...it might be quite far for some people. Wifi is a disappointment. Rarely work for me with iPhone but somehow it seemed to work better with android.

Die Anlage fügt sich perfekt in die Natur ein, alles wirkt durchdacht dank einheitlich Konzept. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir übernachteten in der Privatpoolvilla, welche der absolute Knüller dank dem Pool ist. Das Frühstück schmeckt auch prima,man kann aus drei Arten auswählen, American/Continental/Indonesien Breakfast. Wir empfehlen das Hotel sehr.
