This property has BED BUGS. The front desk staff is NOT helpful or offer any/minimal assistance. I had a full body reaction from bites from the bed bugs and it ruined the remainder of the vacation. I would never recommend this property.

I just completed an “okay” stay at this hotel. There are Pros and Cons to this hotel. The Pros: 1. Location! Location! Location! 2. This hotel is located very close to a water bus stop on the grand canal, making it very easy to get to from the public boat. It is very convenient to walk to the Rialto Bridge and other popular areas in Venice. The Cons: 1. When we walked into the hotel it is very spacious, the lobby is nice, and our room was large and nice. 2. Poor shower design - The first morning of our stay, we realized the shower door does not keep the water in the shower and the entire bathroom was flooding. There is no way to avoid this. When I went downstairs to get towels and ask for assistance they were rude to and told me I needed to be more careful, however there was nothing I could have done different. There was water damage around the sink vanity, rust marks on the floor and floors in the room at the bathroom all had water damage so this is a common issue. 2. The gentleman who works overnight was extremely unhelpful and dishonest. The hotel had arranged a taxi to pick us up at the hotel at 6am to take us to the airport. Due to a flight delay he was supposed to change our taxi time and lied to me that he changed the time when in fact he didn’t. Bottom line about this property is the location is great and service is okay. I rely on reviews when making travel arrangements so I want to help others out with making the best decision for them by sharing my experience.

Potentially beautiful hotel and amazing location. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Many maintenance issues within the suite - working issues with lamps flickering on and off; broken components to shower heads and jets, lack of lighting in the bathrooms. Room did not seem clean. Nice continental breakfast.

The location is ideal for what you want to do in Venice. The rooms are a good size; however we found a couple of bugs in one of the beds. Not sure what they were.

Staff was great and friendly. Veneto was very close. Room had mosquitoes. Bed was very uncomfortable. Shower small. Construction going on every morning (guys yelling and constant drilling all day). Sink plugged up because the drain stopper failed. Pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast items weren’t cold (yogurt, OJ).
