"This is absolutely a five star property experience, and to be frank, anyone who says otherwise is just and idiot. The property is manicured daily by a large group of caretakers, and the staff is constantly smiling at you while greeting you. It is set perfectly on the beach right in front of a biosphere for snorkeling, and very cheap (but great) restaurant extends to the beach as well. Don't give it a second thought, and just book it! You will love it!!! "

"Spent only 1 night at NusaBay Menjangan but was an amazing stay. Lanai Cottage was very comfortable and well thought out. From our arrival to our departure, the staff were all attentive and very helpful. There is only 1 restaurant by the beach for all meals but loved the view. Corals by the jetty were pretty enough. But we signed up for the snorkelling tour which brought us by boat to Menjangan Island (15 - 20 minutes away). There are 2 snorkelling sites by the shore of the island, both...

"Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...

"Base to see sights of Banyuwangi. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the Indonesian breakfast was ample. Car required for this location. There is a shop across it that does general provisions and simple meals. Also went out of their way to purchase meals from outside. The room I booked did not have the advertised mountain view, and the shower room lacked a sink. "

"Adi Assri is a lovely property. We enjoyed our stay. The staff members are very kind, helpful and polite. The spot is beautiful and quiet. It seems likely that the pandemic was hard on many vendors in the area & that they are just now getting back up to speed. The place was only half-filled and some of the services (like spa) were not in full operation. Overall, a lovely place. "

The 2 mosques competing for attention at 4am sharp EVERY morning was too much... and then followed by pulsating music from the village below. Where is all this coming from ?? However, the positives do outweigh the negatives."

"Pros:the dive company at this hotel is very good The hotel is good value for money The location is handy. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach Cons: as diving company is French, its owners and majority of guests are French, they sit around a very large table with lounge chairs and speak in French and smoke. I found this very alienating as we like to meet other travellers but felt excluded and as non smokers can't handle smoking. If you don't mind that then this hotel may suit you."

"This was a convenient place to overnight between Bromo and Bali. The grounds are huge and decorated with beautiful sculptures, and the pool area was large and nicely done. The rooms were fine, but the bathrooms were very dirty- everything needed a good scrubbing, and our bathtub had around 10 dead insects in it when we arrived. "

"The staff was incredible. There were times when I attempted to tip room service and they would return the tip later. I had to insist that they keep it. Honest as could be. Clean comfortable and accommodating. They even have vegan options on the menu. Definitely enjoyed the fruits and vegetables on the breakfast buffet as well. "I liked that it was rustic, rather secluded, on a quiet road and had very nice staff. I liked the yards and gardens and the pool looked nice although I didn't try it. I didn't like: the smell of the tap water, the shower head (or rather it was just a cement trough), that the breakfast was minimal (I basically had to buy myself more breakfast at a neighbouring resort's restaurant), that my room didn't have AC because it was open air from the top of the walls to the rafters."

"The room verry bad. Smelly room, without view, just wall and wall and wall sorounded the room. The room verry closed from highway and without sound proof, so verry noisy. I can't sleep well all night long. This hotel highly not recomended "
