"It was very close to the station and to Malioboro and all that it has to offer: shops, malls, street food, noise, but the area around the hotel was a nightmare to walk as there is so much traffic. We had to take a taxi to Prawirotaman to find a good area of restaurants that expected European clientèle. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. "Everything was perfect about this hotel. The service was excellent and the hotel is very smooth and calming with its atmospheric music in the corridors while you sleep in your room. "I enjoyed my 6 days there. I was a solo female tourist. The staff always went beyond to meet my needs. The electric sockets in Indonesia are unique in that they are round and sunken. So my square universal plug did not fit. Their engineering quickly found a spare conversion socket for me to use. They were happy to fill up my water bottle with ice whenever I asked. "Room is clean, comfortable.There is hair dryer and cool aircon ,but mini bar is not cold & shower not warm enough.Plenty of food varieties for buffet breakfast though.These are the pros & con, but I will stay here again as its just 1 minute walk to malioboro st. "

"The hotel is close to Malioboro Street. However, it's a little set back from the street, so it's not noisy. There are many shopping stores, but not many restaurants. Many people eat at food stalls. You can also go to the Royal Palace and Tamansari within a 30 minute walk. My room was on the 5th floor, WiFi connection was not good and sometimes disconnected."
