"A very classy place, lovingly built by Paul and Joan, who live on the floor above the studio. Even better than the photos - very Conde Nast Traveller exclusive retreat. A large estate, 1.7miles up a very pretty, good side road. 40 minutes slow drive to Apia but the journey is so delightful that’s no problem. Car necessary. Lovely view. "Lovely rooms - very professional and clean. Our only complaint was that the lady at reception told us the buffet breakfast was between 6:30am-7:30am - i questioned her that seemed extremely early. We had to set our alarm to get up that early (which was most annoying). We got to breakfast and I asked again and they said breakfast ended at 10:30am, so we were most annoyed we got up so early. Apart from that - a nice stay 😁"

"While the property looked amazing and the room while clean did not have a working TV, phone, shower head was loose, water was cut off for a few hours. I was confused on the morning of check out to get a knock at door at 8am to confirm I was checking out when 11 am is check out. However staff were lovely and gracious, luckily I was only there for short visit. Otherwise I would have asked for another room."
