"We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm. "

"The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. "

"The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. "

The cabin is a thoughtfully designed self-contained pod, built with natural materials, plenty of nice design touches, and careful thought put into maximizing a small footprint. "The Tarbet is a fine old building but has started to deteriorate, the room I requested was a Loch view but could barely see the loch for trees. I realise it had been raining but no excuse for the outside walls to be wet! The staff are pleasant and helpful and meals not bad with a good breakfast, just needs updating. "

"mainly fine - the hotel is quite dated but very clean and comfortable, the pool area was fine but loungers were limited (only 4), we were given a slot to attend for breakfast but had to wait 30 mins for a table as they forgot about us, there didn't seem to be sufficient staff as loads of tables left uncleared, at the bar it was £5 for a coffee and £4 for a small bag of crisps (didn't buy on that basis) but alcohol and other foods were reasonably priced."
