"Lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff but not good service in the restaurant. We were left for 20 minutes with nothing to drink and no sign of a wine menu. An American family next to us had the same experience. It seemed the Spanish guests were getting preferential treatment. The building and furniture inside are old and out of date, the rooms have no charm, the service is not good. "Great location. Beach view is superb. Our room has balcony and its nice to stay outside and watch people surf. Literally the hotel is across the beach. The back entrance leads to shopping area and restaurants. Walking to old town is convenient. Staff are all friendly and accomodating. Hotel is across the bus stop from Monaco and walking distance from bus stop from Ventimiglia."
