"There are a lot of stairs to go up, the elevator is a single one from I think 1930 and I wouldn't trust it. No garbage pail in the room. It was difficult to find, through a big wooden door with no sign from the street. However, with this being said, I would still recommend it. It was very clean, free mini bar restocked everyday, right beside metro and train station and the people were great, very helpful. if you can overcome the stairs I would highly recommend it."

There was a taxi strike in the morning so the hotel arranged a private car for us and we were before the breakfast hours so Angel also arranged box breakfasts for us which were fantastic. "I’d like to highlight Francesco and his colleagues at the front desk/reception. They all provided exceptional service for our (rather large) party, who were all staying for a different number of nights. Everything was handled perfectly. And Francesco was particularly impressive, remembering the names of our individual party members throughout our stay. He seemed to be everywhere in the hotel all the time. Very impressive. I highly recommend staying at this Holiday Inn!"
