We had a very pleasant room nice and clean and a view of the waterfront like I asked The bad thing about it was the toilet stopped up on the next day and we were leaving anyway so it wasn't a real big deal but kind oh icky for a while

The property was in a convenient location. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean nice view the road getting into and off is a little dangerous Just because of how fast the cars are going, the TV and programming are not super great other than that the experience was really nice

There was black mold on the lampshades, walls and ceiling. I sent a message to the hotel along with photos of the mold but they have not contacted me.

The view, the location, for the price is great, right out of downtown, a mile from james island, several beaches close, shopping was close, many restaurants within short driving distance, wont find another place with the view from the top restaurant.

This place has a great location and a shuttle that drops you off right where you want to be. Yes, it's a little tired, but we had a room they updated a bit on the 12th floor and it had a nice view. Every employee we encountered from check in to the shuttle drivers to the maid who was waiting to clean our room was friendly so we had a great experience. There are certainly nicer places to stay in Charleston but for the money and location we thought it was great and would recomment anyone to stay there. We went to the top the night of our stay for a nightcap but unfortunately, they were only serving beer and wine as the bar was closed around 10pm on a Friday night. Just as well for us as we'd been out since 2pm but might have been a bummer under different circumstances as there were a decent number of people. We'll be back!

The restaurant prices were ridiculously high, and the only working ice machine was on the 3rd floor. I was on the 7th. That was not fun. But everything else was good!

Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The area which I think the hotel could improve on is the amount of outside noise coming in the room. It would seem that the glass is not thick enough or the seal around the sliding glass door is not strong enough to dampen some of the traffic noise. The noise level from the traffic was loud and I had a hard time falling asleep.

My room smelled of urine, very musty smelling coming from A/C. Wallpaper was peeling from wall and there was alot of mold on the walls in serval places. Not up to Holiday Inn Standards. The food in the restaurant was over cooked and overpriced and not fresh. Service at restaurant and front desk was good. Worst Holiday Inn stay ever.

This hotel is very old and outdated. The furniture is stained. The rugs smell musty. The smelly/musty A.C. caused my partner to sneeze all weekend. The location of the hotel is terrible. To exit you must drive into a 4 lane highway with a dangerous blind spot. The worse part was the noise. People in the hallway sound like they are right in your room with you. I could hear the people in the next room doing the nasty. Sketcky motel vibes. I’m begging you to pay an extra $100 and stay somewhere else. This hotel ruined my trip.
