"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. "Seriously beautiful and unique hotel. You can walk and get lost in the towers. Our room was huge. The windows do not open. Very clean considering how old the place it. The food at the two restaurants we tried was pretty good. "

"The stay was fine. Location was great. Our only complaint was the sitting area outside our room or possibly the bar had people that were very loud until about 1am. We had an early flight amd didnt get any sleep. "

"The highlight of this place for us was the location - a very easy 5 minute walk to old town, and also Macy’s in the other direction. The room size is fine and as expected. There was a fridge and microwave which was a bonus we were not expecting. The air con worked well. Shower temperature and pressure were good. On the down side, the bathroom had a strong urine smell but since you couldn’t smell it in the main room, we didn’t bother reporting it as we had already made ourselves comfortable....

"It is an historical site and the surrounding area is very interesting. An old historical mining town with a lot of history. The hotel was a super spot to stay and supposedly haunted. Well they were just as nice as the staff was."

"We were there for my husbands birthday. It is a quaint 1920's boat - that provides a unique experience. Please dont expect the frills that you might get at another hotel, and there are no mini fridges or microwaves. There is a coffee maker. The deluxe room and bathroom is large and comfortable. The staff are wonderful and accommodating and try to see to your needs. The food at the restauraunt on site is very good and the outdoor seating, watching seals and boats is pleasurable.
