"Good value for money - the hotel is in a great location for visiting Etna but is slightly too far up the hill to wonder into Zaffarena for dinner. Free and plentiful parking (in October). The room was clean, a decent size and balcony has an amazing view over the town towards the sea. There is a free minibar which is a nice feature, with lemonades and water to drink. "The hotel claimed it offers transfers from the airport for surcharges. In reality, when I requested the transfer to the airport, they called a taxi for 22-25 Euros. I also needed a transfer from the airport to the hotel after I have dropped a rental car, and they advised me to take an unfamiliar bus in an unfamiliar city. So, I had to take a taxi again. The conclusion is that this hotel DOES NOT offer the transfer. Also, for those traveling by car: you will be lucky if you find a parking space...
