However, on one of the days we stayed here, the hotel accepted an exceptionally large group of really loud partygoers that really ruined the experience. I talked to the manager and explained my discontent, which she understood, and offered a discount. "I had been to Cartagena two months before, so I knew how hot it was and I only searched Hotels.com for hotels with pools. I arrived for an eight night stay - and no pool. After two hours on the phone with customer service and the hotel's non-English speaking concierge, I finally gave up.
