"Amazing service, beautiful resort."

"The location of the Palma Rima is excellent and the bungalows are a good size and in nice grounds. The staff are all excellent particularly the reception staff and money exchange (safe) man (Buba Demba) and all of the security and cleaning/maintenance staff who we had most dealings with. The breakfast is not the best however with limited choice. We also never ate or drank in the hotel due to the cost. "

"Check-in was fast and smooth. When we entered the room, we noticed our teenager did not have a bed. Housekeeping brought a foldout bed. The room had an infestation of some of the biggest ants we've seen. When I alerted housekeeping, they informed me it was rainy season, hence excessive bugs. We met the operations manager in the dining area and told her about my room. She sent housekeeping with a bug spay, and they were ordered to leave it in the room with us. "The staff are second to none, all were very friendly and helpful. the room with a sea view was perfect. breakfast was always of a high slandered. However the only aspect that let them down, was the rooms were not free of mosquitos, they should spray the room once the daily cleaning is completed."

"Affordable, nice pool, poor breakfast. Room not secure. No toilet paper, poor lighting, bathroom and towels dingy, closet broken and there is absolutely no sea view. A big ugly wall blocks the view. Not as beautiful as advertised. Nice that it’s used by mostly locals. Lots of places nearby to go to eat and drink. No bottle water given. "
