"Busy place but very quiet. Staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommend staying there. Very convenient for rail transportation as Shinagawa station is 3 minutes walk. From there one can connect across the region. "

"Very helpful front desk ladies during check in and when I forgot my key in my room- and super cute! Room was clean and had enough space for my luggage. Iron was helpful for a wrinkled shirt. Laundry upstairs was convenient. Easy transportation access and not so far from Itami by cab or train. Connected to a mall so plenty of shopping and dining. Would stay again for sure."

"Hotel metropolitan is best hotel in Tokyo for me. Staff are great, the hotel is clean, nice restaurants and bars.. you never regret staying here. This hotel located by Ikebukuro station where offers many amenities and easy to anccessing everywhere Tokyo, Yokohama, and more. I love to stay this hotel next time in Japan again. "

"We loved the unique (by western standards) interior design and very thoughtful touches throughout the room and the hotel. This is however a high volume, high turnover hotel as a FYI for other travelers. We did not purchase the included breakfast and saw that others had to wait in line etc. Free massage chairs were awesome as were the baths. Walking distance from train station also great."
