"The property is right on the sea front, with sea views from the bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, but beware the shower is open, and the only privacy is with curtains. The restaurant and bar area were lovely, as was the half board option, we enjoyed the pool etc, but if you are coming from the UK, the Sauna and Spa area is most naked people, a bit of a surprise"

"Grumpy staff, not willing to help and not even trying to speak another language but german. Very little info in english or other languages. Horrible wi-fi, and you constantly have to log on to hotspot. Suggestions: -Open some ceiling windows in djungelland and the restaurant "street", the heat is too much! -Maximum 3 hours in the pool area? Come on! This sounds negative, but all in all it was a very nice place!"

"Just stayed there overnight but the hotel and location left such a positive impression in this brief time that it warrants a big thumbs-up from us (family of 4 dog). Modern amenities, very friendly staff (both reception and breakfast personnel), and such a relaxing location right at the marina and near the beach (suitable for dogs). Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a few days at Travermünde, which is a beautiful spot worth visiting!"

It's just a few minutes walk into the altstadt with churches, squares, passageways, courtyards, and a variety of beautiful gabled buildings. "Firstly, location is excellent- 2 minutes to ferry crossing. It serves the purpose. Stayed the night prior to catching a ferry. Rooms are big, but facilities are very dated and it is not particularly clean. Beds however were very comfortable and if not the horrible small or manure it would have been a good nights sleep. Not for light sleeper either- pretty noisy through the night. Food was fine- nothing blew our minds, basic. Breakfast was good- just enough choice and served early too"
