"The staff here go above and beyond, the ‘glamping’ experience was great. Food was really nice but quite expensive. The safari company run joint with the camp was amazing and extremely well run. The downside to this accommodation is that I would say it is only accessible via tuk tuk or car it’s not in walking distance to shops / other restaurants. "

"We stayed in the Araliya Suite 24.2-27.2. Which was absolutely spotless and modern. We loved having our own private pool, sauna, and river view, where we even went swimming a few times. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Indunil. He arranged an adventure for us to the waterfalls, a short jungle hike, and also acted as a guide to a nearby cave. "We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. "The Hantara lodges are close to the Udawalawal National Park and very convenient for safaris and the elephant orphanage. The staff are very helpful and attentative. We stayed 2 nights with other guests staying one night. Basic facilities which is great for a short time"

"Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. "
