"The room was very comfortable, with newly renovated bathroom and a nice French window. The owner/manager Eli is wonderful, very helpful and made me feel right at home. He invited me to freely use the kitchen and laundry facilities and provided tips as I walked around the old city. The only difficulty I had was locating the property when I first arrived nice the building has no posted property name along the main Street Jaffa. But its located close to the Jaffa and Damascus gates and the garden...

"Disappointed that room was not ready by 3.00 p.m check in time. Although there were notices for no smoking in the room, there was a distinct smell of cigarettes on the floor and in the room. Overall, the staff were excellent - very helpful at all times and overall our stay was very good value for money."

"All the staff and super friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious. Even though the hotel is built in the 50’s, it is well maintained. The older lady that works the breakfast buffet is very helpful and kind. The breakfast is a nice variety. The man who works the main desk (I think his name is Sam) is super nice, accommodating, helpful and easy to talk too. The young man who’s the manager is also very nice and always greets you. "

"The property in general is well presented and in good condition. The room I had was excellent, newly renovated, spacious and comfortable; the best room I had on this trip in Israel. I did find the staff though to be relatively unfriendly, everything requested was an effort and they certainly didn’t go out of their way to assist and show good customer service. Despite the staff, I would stay here again in the future. "
