"Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep. "We were blown away by the staff, who were laid back and helpful, giving excellent suggestions for local activities that you wouldn’t know based on the internet. Dinner and breakfast were both incredible. The room was clean and the views were stunning. One of the more expensive stays we had on our trip but worth every penny… my wife and I will remember this as the highlight of our Scotland trip."
