"I and 8 other friends met in Knoxville, TN to celebrate the visit of long-not-seen English friend who was visiting. Since one of the group was a gourmet chef, the Cook Loft was a natural choice. The spacious and well equipped kitchen was the center of interest as we sat and watched him prepare the 5 course dinner. "The hotel was under complete restoration and it showed. There was only one way to enter and leave. Thankfully we were only passing through for the night. I will say the bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. If I had not already made on-line reservations and paid in advance, we would have never stayed here. The lobby ceiling was leaking with buckets catching the water as you walked in. As for TV we were only able to get a few channels. The interaction with the staff was pleasant."
