"We have stayed here a few times, the rooms are large and supply free water and biscuits. What is special about this place is the staff, all of them are so helpful and friendly which makes your stay that much better. Would highly recommend coming here."

Didn’t see much of Liskeard, but found some decent restaurants not far from the hotel. (I liked the restaurant “Himalayan Spice” which was a short walk from the hotel).

I wouldn't say it was a great place in itself as there isn't a lot there. That said, I enjoyed revisiting some old haunts. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting Cornwall, especially without a car, as rail service is decent and on mainline!
