"The hotel stay overall was great. The front desk staff were awesome, professional and helpful. The only downside was parking. Philly is the worst for parking and towing vehicles. Hotels realize this and capitalize on it. Parking here at the hotel was $38.00 per day and that was on the cheaper end compared to some of the surrounding hotels that went for as much as $70 per day. "Motto was great. The microtel experience was exactly what I needed for this trip. This part of Philadelphia was very walkable, and Motto was in the middle of everything. I was close to public transportation, dining, retail, could walk to Rittenhouse Square, and was close to historical Philadelphia. I have not been paid to endorse Motto or the Stephen Starr restaurants, but both were awesome. "

"The bed we slept for the first day was terrible so we complained and the staff gave us other room that had better bed. Also we heard bothering noise from air duct whenever we turned on air conditioner so we had to turn off to go to sleep with the first room. We found lots of hair and dust on the floor. The staffs were great though. The location is very convenient. I guess all other hotels in downtown might be similar so I think we would stay here again next time."

I enjoyed my stay there I would give it 5 starts but one night around 11 pm the fire alarm went on 3 times and people started to evacuate and each time we were told it was a false alarm.
