Everything was almost perfect. The check in was smooth and quick. Anmar Emad the supervisor was super in hospitability and service. The room service were great. The house keeping was top. Highly recommended.

Alhamdulillah the stay itself went well. Be aware there is no official hotel shuttle service available to the haram. There are other hotels shuttle service nearby which some guests use. I am not sure if this is the same outside of Ramadan. It is not a far walk, however could be difficult for elderly visitors. As there is some up hill walking. Unfortunately, right after checking out I was very disappointed with the service, I had kindly requested to have my luggage brought down to the lobby. This was delayed by around 30 mins, which led to me missing my train to Madinah.

Room service person Mr. Harun Ur Rashid did great job for me. He is a complete professional employee. I appreciate his everyday service. I received best service from him. I stayed at Hilton Double Tree end of February and it was amazing stay. Close to the Haram, and had carts driving up and down to save you the walk. The hotel is located around 7mins walk to the entrance of the haram, and can avoid most of the uphill walk cutting through Hilton Convention. Great service from the moment we checked in, to the minute we checked out. The staff were great especially the breakfast staff. Big shout out to Ahmed ElSayed who made sure we received 10/10 treatment every morning. The breakfast is one of the best of any hotels I’ve been to, with plenty of option and good quality.

When we arrived and checked in there was only one member of staff on and he had no personality. The customer service was poor to say the least. The rooms were average. Tired and could do with some upgrades. The beds were horrible they were so soft that you just sunk into them and had no back support. The location is convenient. Definitely better places to stay for the price.

My previous stay in November of 2023 at this place was amazing. This time around the service was less than desirable. Room wasn’t equipped with amenities such as shower gel, Ihram conformant fragrance free soap, slippers, I had to ask and took a while to get them. The soap wasn’t available though, luckily I had some remaining from last trip. The WiFi was flaky which made it difficult to call and talk with family. I think it was just super busy with pilgrims during Shaban.

Great hotel for umrah but for healthy people
This was a family stay for the umrah visit to Makkah. I’ve stayed here before but since then they stopped the shuttle service to the holy mosque making this a very uncomfortable location for family with old members. They have a few electric carts running up and down the hill but depend completely. Excellent place if your young and healthy, think twice if you have limited mobility or other similar issues.

Had to take shower with cold water became sick!!!
I was assigned room 2826 where hot water ws not working after I checkedin had to take cold shower nad made me sick later! Informed front reception to have house keeping fix the hot water issue but was not corrected after few hours so requested the room accross 2827 which I checked the hotwater was working accross the coridor as the house keeping was making the room reluctantly the front desk manager switched the room after I received the key to the room.

After spending a long time looking at various hotels around the haram, we decided to pay the extra and go with the double tree hilton because of the reviews. Firstly there is no shuttle service to the haram so a bit of a steep walk when going but not far at all, 7-10mins. Secondly, we were a party of 7 and booked 3 rooms, they didn't provide any connecting rooms although we requested it well in advance and we had to ask for an extra bed after checking in although we had requested this early on. Rooms are not cleaned properly, staimed chairs and carpet/furniture. Bathroom sealant badly discoloured. Breakfast was ok but the service was poor. Staff are not bothered and you habe to ask for things and wait ages for them to clear tables. Also this hotel is not part of the haram area of praying with the imam. Overall, I'm shocked at the level of service and standards of rooms for a 4 star hotel!

Everything was great. I stayed at this hotel twice within 2 weeks. The first week was in Macca Towers with a partial Harem View and the second was in Madinah Towers. Only 2 feedback first is the elevators on Madinah Tower took too long to arrive, sometimes 5-10 mins waiting. I never had this issue in Macca Towers. Second feedback is regarding breakfast buffet, comparing to our hotel in Madinah - the variety was very little and it was the same food every day.

Overall the hotel was pretty good. The room was clean and the furniture and carpeting looked newer than other Mecca hotels. There was a view of the haram which I appreciated. There was a bit of a smell in the washroom and the phone didn’t work. I didnt say anything to the front desk but the staff were great and would’ve fixed it if I did. The breakfast and corresponding staff were amazing. The real downside was the lack of a shuttle. While the hotel is close by, there is an incline and it was difficult for my mother in her 50s to go up and down to the haram. Adding a shuttle would be a huge perk!

Very nice hotel with spacios room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. It is within walking distance to the haram but walking may be challenging for elderly and kids. They do have golf carts for going to the haram but they do not have service late at night.

The only thing good is the building of the hotel, food was tasteless and horrible. Room cleaning was below standard of a two star property. Air ventilation in the room was so bad, someone painted a door or something near our room, the smell of turpentine paint thinner was in our room for 3 days. Me and my wife got nasal infection from it. We are on antibiotics now. We complained to staff regarding this paint smell, no response on that There was stinky odor from time to time, there was no exhaust fan in bathroom. When Asked for a wheel chair, we were given a defective wheelchair. We asked the employee to go check for another one, his reply without checking was that “oh that might be broken too” I would give this hotel one star only for the reason that building was nice. I would like to get a refund for this bad experience and sickness we got from our stay in Hilton doubletree at jabale Umer.
