"The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. 7 Mar 2020The infrastructure definitely has room for improvement, especially the road from the airport – "rough" doesn't even begin to describe it! Works are in progress, though, so hopefully it will get better.

19 Jan 2020Mombasa town is congested, frantic and hot. Worth a visit but hire a local guide ( not expensive) to find the best historic and cultural parts. Serena Beach hotel is a welcome oasis to return to!
