This is an old property and condition is average. The location is very close to Times Square area which is convenient if you are tourist. The rooms were clean but very old looking. The quality of the bedsheet/towels could be better. The staff is friendly and helpful - standard customer service. I would give 3.5 rating.

Easy walk to theaters. Next door is a deli with good breakfast options and good coffee. There are NO food facilities in this hotel. Getting ice to your room is challenging as the machine is small, frequently empty, and only small plastic bags for transport. The ice must sit in the bathroom sink in that small bag. There is no bathroom shelf for storage. We had a room with an interior view of other rooms. The front desk staff were always courteous. As this hotel was on the lower end of room rates for the area we did not expect much and we were not disappointed.

It’s a bare bones hotel. It’s age and the fact that it’s breaking down make it look dirty, but it is actually quite clean. If you’re looking for a cheaper place to stay in midtown just to sleep then this will work. But if you’re looking for something fancier then this is not the place for you.

Basic hotel but amazing location. Staff wonderful in particular Joey - superstar on reception. Huge, quiet, comfortable bedroom. Will stay here again!

The hotel is very old and outdated. Elevators were ugly, small, slow and no indication of direction on exterior. Our room had a window air conditioner with blinds in front of it. Hence, lower them, no air. Raise them too much light from busy street. Person at desk said no problem. We'll get you a big pillow to keep the light out!!OMG! We canceled the next 2 nights and found a suitable hotel. The only plus was it was located close to everything.

Cons: We were on the 2nd floor and the shower pressure was so high (could not get it to lower pressure or else the water would be cold) that it was painful to shower. The bed for a 'queen' was smaller than a standard. For the hefty price, I'm paying, I would prefer to stay somewhere else (more modern and up to date) and pay the subway to visit time square etc. Pros: Convenient to walk to Time Square but that's about it.

This is an older property but clean, quiet and amazingly close to the theatre district and things tourists want to see. Only here for one night, cruising tomorrow, but I would stay here again! Absolutely!
