"Place badly needs new curtains. In my three week trip in Norway this place had the lightest room at night easily. Curtains are white which fills the room with light closer to summer solstice. It’s an older house so I wasn’t expecting things to be perfect but that should be a super easy thing to upgrade/replace"

"This is a lovely, remote and charming restaurant with rooms above where we stayed (you can also rent cabins). The rooms on the floor above the restaurant are clean and comfortable but do not have en suite bathrooms. Shared bathrooms are down the hall. However, there is the convenience of being in the same building as the restaurant since there are so few eating establishments in the village. "Amazing location, that is perfect for exploring Geiranger, cozy, clean accommodations that is full of character and charm. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend this for your stay in the area. "

"For the price you pay we would expect a little bit more service and overall quality. The rooms are very simple and things in kitchen not working properly. The area is very remote and facilities poor compared to all the other places we stayed at around lofoten. "

This might be a result of the host, or the booking service (hotels.com), or my phone not working well out of the country. The only minor issue is Expedia advertising one price and then charging extra for more than one person. So look at the prices before you book. Not the owners or the propertys fault though. "

"The host was very engaging and welcoming. The stairs up to our room in this quaint Norwegian home were steep for our suitcases. The room did not seem level, we needed to sleep away from the wall to have our heads above our feet. The views are spectacular and the sound of the waterfall soothing. It was nice to be able to make coffee in the morning before leaving. There is not a hair dryer and the home is significantly above the town and restaurants."

"We stayed for one night and also ate both dinner and breakfast here. We were happy with our stay. The people who manage the space were helpful and friendly. We appreciated their hard work. Everything was clean. The pub-type food, while nothing extraordinary, was enjoyable and - again - the service was good and prompt. This is not a "hotel" in the same way that a Scandic or Radisson is. It is a guest-house, with rooms, bathrooms and beds similar to those you might find at a summer-camp. ...
