The hotel restaurant was amazing food and the hotel has very comfortable beds! They serviced our room everyday and was a 7 minute walk from all the parliment! Shopping centre is only a 10 minute walk which was awesome !

Staff were extraordinary! From front desk to housekeeping. The gals in Grill 41 were fantastic, making me feel very comfortable especially as a solo diner - thanks Amanda! I won't stay anywhere else in Ottawa.

This is an older building (1941) that has been updated. The rooms are small (as they were in the 40s) but clean and well maintained. Good area for tourists

The property was nice enough.. but a bit expensive for the size of the room with no view (except for other tall buildings) out both of the windows in my room.

I was a little disappointed, first off you hear everything through walls. All doors slams and vibrate everywhere no soft close on doors. No complimentary water. Elevators need some upgrading. Nice old hotel. But it needs to updating

Great old building if a little tired, good location, comfortable room of a decent size but I HATED the pillows. They were solid and fat and prevented a good night’s sleep,

My only concern was there was no temperature control in the room. They had not turned the air conditioning on for the season. Our room was very warm. Maintenance brought a fan but it was not very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were under maintenance.

Found out the gym was closed after booking. This was disappointing. Hotel made no effort to assist with finding an alternative gym to use when I asked.

Concierge staff very helpful and friendly. Room was very good and hotel is in excellent position to explore local attactions and land marks. Especially as it snowed on the days of our stay. Natural History museum is easy walk from hotel and was also excellent.
