Not a bad place and the price reflects that. Its an older hotel that seems to be confused on whether it wants to be classy or a place for contractors to stay the night. It has a steak house, but i never saw it open and i was staying here during both the weekdays and weekend, but i did not look to deep into it. I was here to see family, so i was primarily with them.
It has a pool, which i my brother and i had to ourselves. Heavy in chlorine and signs say to have goggles, so bring those.Would have been nice to have had towels stationed in the pool room because i did not know we had to get them from the desk.
There is breakfast, but its nothing impressive. It has a pancake maker machine, but weird to eat pancakes by themselves lol. On the weekend they let you have bagels and toast on top of the normal cereal and pancake maker.
Overall it was not bad, with nice staff. Place is kept clean enough and its a bit worn down. The hotel was for sure built for more traffic that never came. I will say though, staying here for 60 dollars a night less makes it waaay more worth it than those hotels in yorkville. Truly my biggest complaint was the TV in the rooms being TINY and the AC does not stay on throughout the night.
