Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Totally unsuitable for non-Arabs.
Front desk staff doesn't speak English, and they tried to bill me up-front for two rooms. Call me unassuming, but when I travel alone, I seldom require TWO rooms. This was only sorted out because the Nepalese coffee-shop guy spoke some English. As for the room, it had a dirty carpet, but at least it was large, with a fridge, a 40-inch flat-screen TV, a comfortable bed, and quiet a/c that worked well. The bathroom was another story: there was no separate shower stall, so shower water just flows all over the bathroom floor and stays there till it evaporates--much of it does not go down the drain. You get to step in a huge puddle all day. There is nothing near the hotel except a gas-station convenience store about 100 meters down the street. No breakfast was served at the hotel even though they have a small facility for it. They said bkfst was only on Friday.
