"Hotel is a little out of the city (~20 minutes walk) and the hotel is designed to cater for business travellers. However, it still makes a good base for tourists visiting Samarkand. The room was clean and modern, bathroom was really nice but the WiFi was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was buffet style and was fine. The staff on the front desk were helpful and gave really good recommendations on where to eat nearby. I did have some issues as when I arrived the hotel didn't seem to have a record...

Staff tried to get guest to take tour with non-English-speaking guide for extremely expensive price. Found better deal elsewhere. Room clean & comfortable, but service bad."

"Very nice and clean hotel with excellent service. Our room was spectacular. My husband got sick during the trip and the hotel allowed us to stay 2 hour longer before going to the railway station. The hotel staff also checked us in earlier without charging early check-in fees. Very friendly and accommodating. We certainly will be back next year. Excellent hotel, highly recommended."

"Incredible staff, went out of their way to help this group of Americans with everything from quick turnaround on laundry/pressing service to providing tips on travelling around the city/country. The room was no frills when compared with what one might expect in a U.S. room, but it was clean, quiet, and a great place to sleep after days of exploring. We didn't travel halfway around the world just to hang out in a hotel room."

"The hotel is nice and at first sight service was good. However, after I'd checked in, staff first tried to force me to take a second room at extra cost and then cancelled my booking before calling the immigration police. Luckily my papers were in order and the police were very professional but it was quite an ordeal. I would suggest you do not book the hotel if you are a visitor to Uzbekistan or do not have your marriage certificate handy, they may use this against you to leverage additional...
