Great location and friendly staff. Complimentary coffee and tea and light breakfast items in morning were a nice touch. No housekeeping entire stay. At least one garbage pickup would have been helpful. And some extra soaps or a body wash in the shower. But overall a pleasant stay.

The cleanliness of the room and friendliness of staff were not an issue, however when we booked we were unaware that the hotel did not have AC and were not told until 2 hours after check in that the entire building did not have AC. We had our dog with us and she was panting all night. We were told a fan was in the room but none was located and the dial on the wall was useless. The windows open did nothing to help, it only added to how uncomfortable we all were. Right outside the hotel is FILLED with unhoused individuals who were screaming, yelling, playing loud music all night and lighting off illegal fireworks. We were extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this hotel.

This is a nice little boutique hotel that is within walking distance of so many things. The room was cozy although a little warm since there is no AC and the window only opens partially. There were quite a few homeless individuals around the property but I was never approached or felt unsafe at all. I would stay here again.

I love the ambiance and amenities, but not the lack of air conditioning and complaining from the gentleman at the desk the morning of the fourth about mgmt.

Overall happy with the hotel and the value it provided. At first we were a little surprised with a few tents just outside as the city has lots of homelessness but it was only there the first night of our stay. At a few moments late in the evenings or very early morning it was a little loud but we did sleep with the window open. Luckily the weather wasn’t crazy hot since there is no air conditioning. Sleeping at night with the window cracked open ans a fan was comfortable. 5 minute walk to the cable car and union square. Would stay here again. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. One thing I would recommend is more assorted fruit for breakfast as well as maybe some bagels or croissants to go along with the muffins

The staff was nice and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Just what you need for sleeping and enjoying the city during the day. At night however, we didn’t not feel safe walking out. There were lots of suspicious people and tents. It’s a shame because otherwise the hotel is great.
