"During my recent stay at the HolidayIn hotel, I had the pleasure of staying of experiencing some robust services by the staff, and I must say, I liked it very much! From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views and easy access to nearby attractions. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, with well-maintained facilities, and beautifully landscaped gardens. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious and diverse cuisine served at the hotel's restaurant. Every meal was a delightful experience, with a wide range of options to suit different tastes. Immediately upon entering the room we noticed ants scurrying near the fridge, bathroom floor, and inner table. Videos were taken and shown to staff.

Very clean. Bed very comfortable with nice sheets. Powerful shower. Great hotel to stay at if transiting through Semarang, didn’t explore much of the surrounding area but seemed like good restaurants and malls nearby.

Housekeeping really needs to improve.There were some small ants on the table and in the bathroom. The towels were stained and the room smelled somewhat stale. The property is however relatively new compared to other hotels in the vicinity. The nearby Simpang Lima foodcourt is within 10 minutes walk.

Nice & cozy stay.
The room was neat with nice clean spacious bathroom. 24 hour gym with the view to the main street in front of hotel, decent equipments. Breakfast had western and Indonesian food options, nice sitting area (indoor and outdoor). Very friendly and helpful staff. Worth visiting again.

Great location. Main drawback was no restaurant at the hotel. But, there were several good restaurants very nearby. Comfortable bed, and quiet, at least up on the higher level.

A new hotel in good location. The room's condition is good with comfort bed and two pillows for each person. The bathroom has small towels besides regular ones and a hairdryer. But the breakfast space and aisle for taking breakfast meal is narrow and not many variation of the meals.

Tiny room. Breakfast was pretty bad. Not enough food and hotel guests literally pushing my husband and I out of the way to get at food. It didn’t seem like the hotel prepared enough food because most of the food would be gone in a few minutes.

I like the place, clean, minimalis style. Very friendly staff, I just need to get some ideas that Express Inn meaning no restaurant to eat. I ordered the simple food offered, but quality is not there. Please check the water system as if you just opened the shower there was some unpleasant smell. Otherwise I am happy.

Just ok
Basic standard hotel, the only downside is ants. There are ants in the room, ants by the breakfast area and even in their cereal holder. I asked the receptionist if ants are normal; she answered that it is not and if there are any ants they will spray it. Well if it is not normal; why you have them by the breakfast area where you serve food. Location wise, it is perfect... close to mall and attraction by simpang lima. Parking is a bit hard especially from the ground parking as it does not have enough room.
