직원이 매우 친철하시고 사용하기에 좋았습니다. 다만 처음에 난방기 리모컨이 TV리모컨과 겸용인지 모르고 한참 찾았어요. ㅎㅎ

The size of the room was definitely smaller than expected. It was quite a hassle to move around within the room itself, and if you are claustrophobic, this property might not be ideal. However, two distinct plus points made up for its lack of space - 1) The excellent and warm customer service provided by our receptionist. She is ever ready to troubleshoot for us and accommodate our requests. Thank you! 2) superbly convenient location. This place is literally a stone’s throw from the bustling Hongdae hangouts. Imagine big-name hotels like L7 and Mercure are just diagonally across from this property, you know the sheer convenience that would come out of staying in Hyoo Sik at a fraction of the price (and space) you got from L7 and Mercure.

Overall not bad just small
Overall it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Perfectly located in the Hongdae area. The room was very small. I think 1 maybe 2 people would be ok. The bathroom did not have a separate shower just an all in one wet room (I know common in Korea). It was so small though that everything got wet in the room when showering.

좁고 청결은 좀 부족하지만 경추베개는 좋았다..
연박 묵었는데 생각보다 너무X1000 좁아서 당황스러웠어요 캐리어 하나도 못 펼칠 정도 .. ?.. 베개 청결도 별로였어요 파운데이션 묻어있어서 1번 바꿔달라고 했고 다음날 청소해주신 후에도 베개에 파운데이션이 또 묻어있길래 바꿔달라고 할까 .. 고민하다가 그냥 썼어요 근데 경추베개는 진짜 편해서 잠 잘잤어요

This hotel is not for foreign traveler. More like local youngsters. The room I stayed, split design and down stairs has full sized bed, no space to walk around the bed. Not even one side. If they put the bed on top side, I could have space for luggage and space for seating. I check in night time and I could tell they just clean the room.

Well located quiet hotel.
Really well located, nice and quiet with excellent blockout curtains and a HUGE TV. The common areas such as reception and any area with carpet are filthy. Carpets at minimum need a clean, really need replacement. Shame as the rooms are small but nice. The 6pm checkin is a joke, given they as for 50,000 won to check in a couple of hours earlier.

I loved the location and cleanliness. It was weird that the shower was in the bathroom with no separation from the toilet and sink. Everything got wet. Other than that it was great.

モーテルを改装したホテルということで泊まりましたが、韓国の地図ではモーテルという扱いになっていました。職員の方は非常に親切で優しかったです。 部屋は綺麗でしたが、シーツにシミがあったり、部屋全体が少し排水溝臭いと感じたりしました。 安かったのでここにしましたが、もう一度泊まりたいとは思いませんでした。

ホテル自体は綺麗でしたが、シャワーの仕切りのカーテン等がなかったのでトイレや洗面台がびちょ濡れでこれでいいのか不安になりました。また、タオルやシーツにシミがあり不快でした。 良かった点は、テレビが大きいのとサイダーが無料で飲めることくらいです。 少し残念でした。

It is located at a gorgeous location near Hongik Uni. It turned out Hongik was the area I enjoyed the most —- it has everything.

I booked the standard double. It’s a tiny room, but manageable as a solo traveller. My main concern was the dirty walls and sheets. There were stains on the pillow cases and on the bed sheets, including a yellow patch that looked unpleasant. It appeared the stains were poorly concealed by some white ink or marker. I asked reception for new sheets and they told me it wasn’t necessary as the sheets were clean and the stains were from the washing, not from other guests. Hard to believe. Bathroom is tiny and water goes everywhere. There is mold growing around the tiles and shower head. The walls inside the room were quite dirty. Location is great but I really had wished I booked elsewhere considering the state of the room and the relatively high price I advise other travellers to consider these issues.

나름대로 괜찮았습니다. 홍대 근처에 있어서 주변 관광을 하고 싶으면 얼마든지 할 수 있었으나, 출장이다보니 너무 피곤해서. ㅠ 다음에 또 방문하겠습니다.

Unexpectedly found very cosy in excellent convenience location in HongDae. Service was excellent and very friendly staff who lended us 2 umbrellas for 2 days. However, found small issues and there were very small shower, slightly noisy air-conditioning and just a little uncleanness. Would i recommend and YES I WOULD.

Small but costly. Will stay again.
The room is small but it has everything needed. The bathroom is also small but the shower is a very comfy one. Location is great. Awesome restaurants nearby and the youth night live is just across the road. Airport bus for incheon airport is also handy. This is my second stay in the same month. Will definitely stay again.

First of all, finding the hotel with entrance off an alley was challenging at night. Signage is not so great. Standard room was satisfactory, but very small-barely a foot around the bed, very small desk, open shower in the bathroom. But oh, yeah, that electronic toilet was amazing. High ceilings and a TV that takes up about half the wall for some reason. Stairwell was blocked by hotel laundry bags (not the best for fire safety). Front desk would not call me a cab. Stained bedding, with some surprise hairs, but everything else was clean in the room. Fun district with a young population, close to transit. Good if all you want is a place to crash between activities.
