"The hotel is a lovely old converted winery and is situated in a very large Orange/Lemon orchard in the middle of the countryside. The hotel rooms and grounds are stunning, with nice views of the Volcano/Sea and the bar/restaurant are both excellent. Breakfast is a fabulous experience and is served outside on a lovely covered area with views out to the sea. The spa is small but is nicely designed and the staff do a good job. The room could have been more comfortable but it was early in the year. Had we come later we would have been able to sit outside and enjoy the pretty courtyard. We had a memorable stay and a real taste of Sicilian cuisine and lifestyle."

No bar - we stayed here for shelter during typhoon and would have been nice for casual area for wine and antipasto to escape from our room during storm but we understand it is what it is. Good range of options at dinner; fixed, a La carte, or pizza. Huge wine selection. "

"The room was large, decor was interesting and overlooking the garden/pool area (although you cannot see the pool from the room). Dinner was great at €30 per person. The property is very pretty in a quiet area although quite close to the main road so you can still hear the cars. We were given towels for the pool. And the pool is very nice, and gorgeous at sunset. There was a bad smell coming from the ensuite. The AC was very noisy (crackling and popping sounds all through the night) that woke us...

The views from the balcony were stunning. The walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbors, but it was fine. I would return in a heartbeat. "

"Nice place to stay if you are travelling near Catania. It is located between Catania and Taormina (both ~30 mins drive), so it was convenient for us to explore both. Limited dining options in the area and we have been told the on-site dinner is only available on Sunday and Monday. For us, we drove to Taormina for dinner which was lovely.
