This property is definitely budget friendly. The walls arent sound proof so sleeping in late was difficult. Even though I had a do not disturb sign on my door I didnt get the two bottles of water everyday. I needed a room change since the tub didnt have a liner on it or a door. Besides that the tub was old and parts were rusty. The tiles were dirty in the room. The outlet to charge your phone was very far. There was no problem changing the room. That was a plus for me. Would I stay there again no.

The room is not the same what we viewed in the computer. It is cheated.The room is too small that we can't open our luggage on the floor. We have to open the luggage on the bed. It is even smaller than Japan's hotel. The faucet sink is cracked and leaked.

The location was OK. About 10-15 mins walk to MRT. Close to restaurants and shops. We would prefer a bit closer to the City, cleaner surrounding though. We tried to contact the Hotel 81 via email on many occasions before flying to Singapore without any replies. After settling into the Hotel, we found out that the bar fridge had no freezer, and asked the staff (evening shift, male staff) whether we could possibly use the staff fridge to freeze a small ice block that's used to keep our medication and eye drops cool on the road. His reply was unfriendly, a straight NO. Other staff are good and helpful. Communication and attitude are important to customer service. It makes a big different to how people feel about their stay in the hotel and in Singapore.

Stayed at Hotel 81 Hollywood for 1 night after booking it for 4 nights originally. After checking in to the room, the room was small and bathroom was dirty with grime and mildew. No exhaust fan plus the humidity. Our driver let us know the area was sleezy and we could tell the area was noticeably rundown. However local food areas were good. We were still charged 1 night and additional night penalty per their policy which sucks.

Avoid this Hotel 81 Premier Hollywood
I would recommend avoiding this hotel at all cost. We booked two rooms at this Hotel 81 Premier Hollywood for 4 nights but decided to check out after the first night. The room is small. The bathroom only has shampoo dispenser, towels and nothing else. The location is bad. It is in the red light district and a brothel is 3 houses away. The alley leads to the hotel is dark. My son and daughter who are adults literally told me to check out after their walk to buy some stuff at nearby 7-11. They don't feel safe at all. In addition, the internet is slow. Download speed is 1.1x Mbps. We stayed in the 5th floor and it is noisy all the time from conversation of other guests walking outside my room. It happened at mid night and even at 6am. When we told the front desk our horrible experience and asked for early checkout, they charged us a penalty fee of one night. So we only got back 2 nights payment and also get charged an additional 6% credit card cost. That is their cancelation policy. I did contact Hotels.com agent for this matter and ask for their support but they replied that they cannot help.

most of the staff reluctantly did what was asked. facility had issues with wi-fi and no staff wanted to come up and assist. the staff kept telling us to take main key out for 10 minutes which powered off the whole room. made do it twice since they claim i didn’t do it right. it turned it was their main server.

Personal fängt Morgens vor 8 Uhr an die Zimmer zu Reinigen und verzichtet nicht darauf dies Laut Singend zu tun sodass man dies auf dem ganzen Stockwerk hört. Desweitern gammeln Leute auf dem Flur herum die dort auf dem Boden sitzen und mit dem Handy herumspielen. Zwei Häuser neben dem Hotel befindet sich offensichtlich ein Bordel und die Hotels vermieten die Zimmer auchStundenweise, ob dies bei diesem Hotel auch der Fall ist kann ich nicht sagen würde es aber vermuten. Das beworbene Highspeed Internet stellte sichals das langsamste Internet heraus das ich seit Jahren hatte. Mehr als 2 MBit maximal waren nicht möglich meistens sogar 1 MBit und weniger. Eine Email mit Bildanhang zu empfangen stellte sich als grosse Herausforderung heraus vom Surfen im Internet ganz abzusehen. Am Fenster befanden sich Innen verkrustete Ablagerungen in der Mitte der Scheibe. Auf dem Bett befanden sich beim Einchecken Haare und an den fügen im Bad gab es schimmel an den Fugen. Aber für das Hotel für 3 Tage 230 € Bezahlt und dafür sollte die Qualität stimmen. Dies war leider hier nicht der Fall. Dieses Hotel für 30 - 40 max die Nacht wäre OK aber nicht fast 80 € die Nacht. So kann ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen, fürFamilen mit Kinder sowieso nicht aufgrund des benachbarten Bordels.

The room is too small unlike the picture. There is not sampoo and conditioner. We can hear everything what happened around the other room. The only thing I like about is there was too many restaurants around the hotel ( local foods).

Our room 508 is so small, you have to walk side way. The water pressure is great. Front desk check in was very pleasant and welcoming. Front desk check out was not at all. It could well be to see us leave. Thanks anyway.
