Ok experience. I would recommend to people on a budget.
Pros:
- Room was generally clean
- Air conditioning worked well
Cons:
- No sound insulation (I could hear every time someone got out of the elevator)
- Room smelt of cigarettes when I arrived (but this dissipated after a few hours)
- Shower is set up poorly. Position of the showerhead makes it easy to knock the tap and turn it off. No shower door so the entire bathroom gets wet. Floor does not angle towards the drain, so it floods.
- Bed and pillows are uncomfortable. I kept waking up with a sore back and shoulders.
- Wifi password was not provided to me on checkin. I was not told there was wifi until I tried to find it too.
- Location is ok but not good. 15 min walk from Aljunied Station (East West Line) and 15 min walk from Mountbatten Station(City Circle Line). Ok bus service to the area. Geylang Rd is not as nice as many of the other areas in Singapore, it is more run down and not as clean.
